Why is hakol min Shamayim (All is from Heaven) except "antisemitism"? Is it not the main tool in HKB"H's hand used to dismantle the exile? Isn't ending the exile - something we pray for many times every day - something to take joy and hope from and not something to organise "fights" against?
Which is it? Do we want to be redeemed or not?
If you are willing to fight this battle against the One Who is sending it, you've got even bigger questions to answer.

ReplyDeleteI looked up this Professor Jiang Xueqin....just a quick survey of his views makes it appear to me that he has a very negative view of Israel...a very conspiratorial one that we are intentionally breaking up the world to serve our purposes. So that he sees peace here for decades does not at all seem to be a Messianic optimism but a fancy theory to cover his anti Semitism.

ReplyDeleteWhy is the conventional advice is that nothing must be disturbed in a person's life tomake aliya, yet this logic is not applied to any other area of life. It's always, if you're doing well, financially, kids learning etc don't even think about it. Why do we not say if you are doing well as a single person in every department don't even think about getting married, and then having a child, subsequent children, each one of those steps is huge and completely upsets a person's equilibrium, strain on parnasa, less time to learn Torah, shlom bayit issues, children off the derech. In every other area of life, the advice is you move forward and face the challengues with tefilla and emuna. But no one must make aliya, unless they are a complete loser in life so it doesn't make any difference. Amongst the worst aspects is that not only they don't have the desire to live in Israel, and don't encourage others to do so, they actively discourage Jews from making aliya.
In a very recent shiur, Rav Anava said resistence to aliya is directly from the root of the sin of the spies. The spies did not just not want to ascend to the land themselves, they actively sowed fear and foment amongst the people.
Everyone who not only doesn't make aliya or at least try, or refuses to encourage it, and actively discourages it and attacks Jews telling them to make aliya, needs to do a serious cheshbon nefesh. It's a chance to rectify the sin of the spies. The reason you listen to your chashuve rabbi is not cos of his stature, but because he makes you feel vindicated.
They are williing to be redeemed, but only on their terms, sound and light show of Moshiach, literal wings of eagles, which doesn't sound as comfy as a boeing, presented with a nice house in Israel, or some are dreaming of having their home transported to Israel, or the opposite, some kind of Star Trek style transmuation, beam me up scotty, Beit Hamikdash, and back to Bondi for lunch. Antisemitims for them is an inconvenience, not a message. Let's spend billions on security for jewish institutions, but we don't have money to move the community to Israel.
Everything starts with ratzon, root ratz, run, movement. Ratzon sets things in motion and the opposite. Without ratzon nothing happens.

DeleteIt's really not too tough of a question. The reason for anti-semitism is m'Shamayim is because Hashem is waking up those Jews who ask this exact question. Hashem allows anti-semitism to rear its ugly head is that He wants us all to wake up, but these Jews have no clue what they're doing wrong.

so assimilated that they are unaware of how a Jew needs to live; his thoughts, behaviors & actions, etc.

the same as ours. So, until our people realize that if
they would only start learning even a little, they will begin to realize why
H' allows for the nations to remind us who we are. Antisemitism is the strongest way to wake up our people. Trouble is they are so assimilated and secularized, they cannot possibly understand the 'why'.
It's all in the first paragraph of the Shema: We are Commanded to teach our children day and night what our mission is in this world!
The answer is one word =TORAH. That is the whole answer. It's all in
the Torah!

Neshama: it might be a wild encounter, as the MINES blow everything out of the water. Britain is heading over to get some of them out of the way. But the big problem might be the stoppage of precious OIL that might result. Expect waterworks!
ReplyDeleteThe nations are being divided up and this has been the agenda of the globalists for decades. They plan to establish regions throughout the world. The Americas would be divided up and populations moved; that is why the illegal immigrations in the U.S.as well as in other parts of the world. They sort of started with the European Union. I read where in the middle east they are working at making it also some kind of union, c'v, and Israel would be, r'l, the center of technology (of course, instead of Torah, c'v.). These are not secrets but the less known about this is better for them eventhough, it is out there for all to know. That's why there's dumbing down of the youth, so they can be mindless robots.
ReplyDeleteBut, H' works in mysterious ways. HE allows the reshaim to do the work and in a way, this is setting us up for the coming of Moshiach but with totally different results, B'H. In the meantime, the world will adjust more easily when everything is in place, as HKB'H wants it to be and also gives us the time to do teshuvah.
