Can anyone explain to me why the rich and infuential Jewish Americans in the Diaspora who do not care to live in Eretz Yisrael still insist on having some say in its future - to the detriment! - of the Jews who do?

They don't know it yet, but these rich and influential "Diapora" Jews who are tightening the American noose around the necks of Israeli Jews are as relevant to the future of Eretz Yisrael as the four-fifths of the Jews who remained in Egypt. They are destined to share the same fate as well. And good riddance!!

ReplyDeleteThe gates of tshuva are always open. In some situations, there is no divine assistance, but the gates are open. There is a tefila to daven for someone for Hashem to open their heart to the Torah.
ReplyDeleteOnly Hashem decides what a person's fate is. And even with a sharp sword on one's neck, it is not allowed to lose hope for divine mercy for ourselves and for other Jews.
Everyone is responsible for their own actions obviously, but as we are a klal, we are all responsible for one another. And we have to ask ourselves have we really davened enough for other Jews to make tshuva, to make aliya, to live according to the Torah.
Everything you write about is really happening. The question is who do we think is in control, and do we believe in our own tefilot to change the reality. Things are very much not looking good for Jews in the galut, to say the least, but our job is to not give up hope, and definitely not to write them off and seal their fate with our own words. Cos words, especially the words of a frum Jew, have power .
Alevei that every Jew should make tshuva shleima, and those in galut make aliya pronto. Be'D.
