"My Brother, You Will Not Be Like Me..."

12 Tammuz 5785

IN THE FUTURE ESAU WILL DON A TALLIT

In the future, Esau will wrap himself in a tallis, sit down next to Yakov and say to him, "You are my brother"....Yakov will say to him, "My brother, you will not be like me. I will lead you to death, I will be the pestilence that leads you to Sheol (Hoshea 13,14). Had I upheld decrees that you promulgated against me, I would have been guilty at the eyes of Heaven. Had I violated them, you would have killed me (Yalkut Shimoni, Yirmiahu 333).

"That was Esau's intention when he told Yakov, 'Let us travel together and I will go before you' (Genesis 33,12). He wanted them to join together in both this world and the world to come, to meet each other halfway, with each modifying his conduct until they were alike (Yalkut Shimoni, Genesis 133).

According to the Arizal, Yeshu was a gilgul of Esau.  I can see some similarities between the three.  The frequent talk of Trump being a "messianic" figure; his "second coming" so-to-speak; being elected again to office after losing his second consecutive term.  Basically, coming back to finish the job he started.  Sounds very Yeshu-like to me.

While Esau was called ruddy in complexion, Trump is practically famous for the constant references to his "orange" color.  Red is Esau's color and MAGA has a lot of red!  Then there is the Red Cross of Chr*stianity.

Esau also was a notorious philanderer (actually much worse).  Yeshu had many female followers of questionable reputation - enough that it is remarked upon.  Trump also is notorious for his many crude and sexist remarks about women (even his own daughter!).  And let's not forget Trump's vast evangelical Chr*stian base.

Not suggesting that Binyamin Netanyahu is a gilgul of our father Ya'aqov, but as the current representative of B'nei Yisrael (Ya'aqov), perhaps we are now witnessing the fulfillment of a destined End of Days meeting at Mount Se'ir...

(Rashi on Genesis 33:14) until I come to my master, to Seir. He told him of a longer journey, although he intended to go only as far as Succoth. He said [to himself], “If he intends to harm me, he will wait until I come to him,” but he did not go [to Seir]. (Gen. Rabbah 78:14) So when will he go? In the days of the Messiah, as it is said (Obadiah 1:21): “And saviors shall ascend Mt. Zion to judge the mountain of Esau.” There are [also] many midrashic interpretations to this section.

Of course, the ultimate ben Ya'aqov who will put Esau in his proper place will be either ben Yosef or ben David (Yehudah).

You may be wondering how I reconcile this idea with also claiming Trump to be Gog.  That is for another day, if anyone out there would really be interested in an explanation.  Let me know in the comments.

  1. I would certainly be interested in learning about this.

In the meantime, I am sure you have heard of the latest proposal to compromise the integrity of the Land of Israel, so-called "coexistence," and the further joining of Israel with Ishmael, this one from Sheikhs in the Hebron area. I hope to write, ie. warn, about it soon. The usual Jewish suspects are serving as its cheerleaders.

    1. Ditto for this one, too - (Yishai Fleisher : 51:50 - 1:09:18) .
A New Religion for Goyim as a gift from "Orthodox" Jews - Abrahamism?

    2. Tomer Devorah I couldn't listed to more than a few minutes of that! As soon as Yishai recounted his "joke" of being grafted in, I wanted to vomit. It's not funny. These people love goyim so much they forget what it means to be Jews.

    3. I know Shimshon, that's how it affects me, too. It would shock you to know how far this reaches, how many people just like him are all on board with this stuff. People need to be warned but I do realize that it sounds like an exaggeration until you really look into it.

    4. In the Rambam's Mishnah Torah in the section of Avodat Kochavim, the Rambam talks about how it is forbidden to talk and hold dialogue with a "Mesit" a false prophet, or in this case missionaries. And since most Evangelicals could easily be classified as Mesit...I don't understand how good and otherwise wholesome Torah Jews can form bonds with the Xians. I'm seriously mind boggled. They are wonderful Jews in so many ways, they are resettling the land and holding on to what constitutes the heartland of Eretz Yisroel, like Chevron, Kever Rachel, Beit El ect. They form a ring of fire around these places and prevent the fakestinians from entirely claiming them as their own....and that is such a holy beautiful act of mesirat nefesh.
Its a frightening paradox that I don't understand, my heart hurts for them. I know they think they are doing the right thing and strengthening and getting support for the am but instead they are allowing wolves in sheep's clothing a foothold here. It's terrifying to watch.
How do you forgive and forget 2000 years of persecution, suffering and endless bloodshed that Xians perpetrated on our people or stood silently by and watched it happen....and now suddenly their our dear brothers. I don't think so!!

    5. And BTW I'd love to hear more how you connect Trump to Gog because I'm leaning that way as well. I think it was the Yalkut Shimoni that said we are going to be surprised when we see who Gog is...we are going to say "You?" What would be more surprising than for most Jews then to realize their dear old pal Trump is Gog?

  2. Trump loves to take credit for everything positive and blame his predecessor for anything negative. As with Ukraine; he sent javelins and other weapons so the Civil War could continue. It wasn't until there were 2000+ attacks on the Donbass that Russia decided to enter. Previously Putin didn't want to enter the conflict, and said as much to the ethnic Russians, until those attacks and they asked to be part of the Russian federation.

Trump will not even "acknowledge" the deaths after the Iranian attack, nor the latest IDF deaths in Gaza, but brags about the US being warned of the Iranian missiles fired in Qatar. Would he sit idly by if Americans were being attacked and killed. He wants quick settlements and damn the repercussions in the future. Once again he tells the media, THIS is the final option for Hamas. Surprisingly, whereas the media in the past would call him out for such contradictions, now they are respectful when bringing it up and settle for his reply.

I would have to say Esav had more merit than This man. Would Esav have let Yaakov's family be killed.

    1. I think Esav was fully capable of killing his brother and the entire family had HKB"H allowed him to do it. Remember he swore to kill Ya'akov when their father died and when Ya'aqov was returning, Esav went out with 400 armed men to fulfill that promise. Ya'aqov also thought it possible which is why he separated his family into different groups.

    2. I was only thinking of the time when the two met.

    3. I would say the pasuk seems to reflect Esav had a concern for the family at that moment, whereas Trump seems more concerned for Ukrainian soldiers than any Jew in Israel.

    4. Also, when he talks about the Iran B2 operation he leaves out how the Israeli pilots paved the way beforehand. Israeli modifications to the F-35 likely made the operation successful. As I noted, he wants to take credit for Everything.

    5. Listening to the cabinet meeting and Rubio gives "credit" to Trump for Lebanon and Syria.

    6. The book "Pharaoh" by R. Alexander Hool writes of a short period of time, documented in our mesorah, when the families of Yaakov and Eisav lived together in peace, until an incident that led to a war and an eternal state of enmity between them and us.

I don't remember the specifics, but it was remarkable.

  3. Gematria of Edom is 51. There are 50 United States and Trump openly speaks of making Canada, Greenland or even Gaza the 51st state....thus completing Edom.
The economy has never been better, the stock market has never been higher and a few weeks ago Trump showed the world the might of his army. All wonderful signs of Edom's impending downfall. As Shlomo HaMelech writes "לפני שבר, גאון"

  4. Trump's Eisavian bona fides are most apparent vis a vis the war in Ukraine. He constantly bemoans the senseless and extensive bloodshed, which is mostly borne by Ukraine. He could end it in an instant by ceasing all arms shipments to them, and tell Zelensky to surrender and sue for peace, but he won't, and is perfectly happy, like all of the evil elites, to fight Russia to the last Ukrainian. They love the shedding of blood. The more the better.
