...it would still be a Chr*stian ministry; a missionary organization concentrated on building relational bridges between the Jews of Judea and Samaria and Yeshu - the false man-god they worship on the hills of Israel's "heartland."
HAYOVEL, known by many for its missionary agenda, is rebranding itself as "The Israel Guys" - a generational change featuring Tommy Waller's offspring.
Quote: "We're still doing the same volunteer projects and Israel trips that we've been doing for the past 21 years, nothing changing there. ...Same mission..."
Please help spread the word. Make our fellow Jews aware. Thanks!!

"They" say that a picture is worth a thousand words. I posted a link to this on my blog post, The Prophet Nathan's words from God to King David...a commentary. Thanks, Blog Mom!

ReplyDeleteIt used to be acknowledged it was the need for Xian money. In a recent shiur Rabbi Mizrachi told the story about a Rabbi who never took any money when he went somewhere. He relied on Hashem and in going and returning someone else also entered the cab and ended up paying for the ride. R' Mizrachi was also the only Rabbi I heard give an accounting of the Nova festival. When I saw the entire stage lit up with a giant Buddha and flaming skulls on each side I found it to be extremely scary.
ReplyDeleteBut nowadays it's not specifically about the money. It is the belief that Israel "needs" this Xtian support because they wouldn't survive otherwise. Steve Bannon said as much calling Israel a "protectorate". No doubt Trump views it the same way.
I came across these "Israel Guys" via a link about some current topic. Something seemed off though. I then noticed two of the guys weren't wearing kippahs. Then when I checked I found out who they really are. In the video I watched the one Jew complained about the lack of Torah observance among the people. My immediate thought was, why are you sitting with them instead of supporting kiruv. Of all those who sit with Xtians, I've only heard complaints about fellow Jews and nothing about reaching out. But they'll reach out every day to Xtians.
And the icing on the cake--Rav Landau meets with Huckabee to complain about the draft and arrest of 3 yeshiva bochorim. In those days, Hashem destroyed the Beit haMikdash. Today, we don't have our Beit haMikdash. So how will Hashem show His discontent?
