So, at the moment, there are two opportunities on offer for the good Jewish citizens of Israel to make their opposition to the public desecration of our Holy City known and witnessed.
1) Join Bentzi Gopshtein and the Lehavah organization's protest at the Menachem Begin Heritage Center near the Liberty Bell Park on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 5:00 pm.
2) Join Rav Tzvi Tau and the LIBA organization's protest at the Strings Bridge at the entrance to Jerusalem on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 5:00 pm.
NOTE: There will be a place for women at both events.
I hope that each person reading this will take some time to consult with Hashem and work out a schedule of fasting and prayer suitable for them in order to give strength to the side of righteousness and holiness.
And may all the efforts of the righteous sanctify Hashem's Name and serve to uphold His honor as well as that of His Chosen City.
POLICE STEP UP PREPARATIONS FOR JERUSALEM PRIDE PARADE
As rainbow flags go up around the capital ahead of Thursday’s annual gay pride parade, Israel Police has stepped up its security preparations for the event....
...According to the Jerusalem Police spokesperson, Alsheich received an extensive briefing on the “long and thorough work carried out by the Israel Police,” which included, “the deployment of thousands of policemen, both overt and covert, comprehensive intelligence preparation work and the use of intelligence technologies.”
...LGBT organizations announced Monday they were calling off a planned protest, fearing it would detract from the Jerusalem Pride Parade set for later in the week, which they expect to be the largest the city has ever seen in the wake of widespread anger over a law that bars gay men from surrogacy parenthood rights.
...Instead, they would drive a convoy to from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem on the day of the march, Aguda said, adding that they had police permission to do so.
Last year some 22,000* people took part in the parade according to police estimates, under the watchful eye of 1,000 police.

The bottom line is when you look around the world and see all of what's happening, the total upheaval and breakdown with the global acceptance of gay marriage, it is such a limmud zechut and chiddush Hashem that there are Jews who take a stand against it and call it what it is. It's an upside down world and the fact that there is an anti-parade demonstration in Eretz Yisrael - and only in Eretz Yisrael - is a major limmud zechut for the Jewish People.

The next mayor of Jerusalem had better be religious. There is absolutely no reason a chiloni mayor should be running the Holy City. Look at this desecration.
ReplyDeleteANA HASHEM HOSHEA NA!!!!!!!
It's worse. tens of thousands of sheqels in funding is awarded to LGBT organizations, and if I'm not mistaken the parade is underwritten also, from tax money paid by Yerushalmim. We had a religious mayor who tried to at least pull that funding, but of course, the courts came to the rescue of the abominators.
DeleteGays slam Jerusalem mayor
The current chiloni mayor was elected because of disunity in the charedi camp. Thats why Lapolianski lost. This is openly known. What we are seeing is the price of religious disunity. It leaves a gap for the wicked to fill. And how.

2018 Gay Pride parade in Tel Aviv, Israel
More than 200 leading rabbis published a letter condemning the idea of surrogacy and adoption for gays, describing homosexuals as “perverts,” The Jerusalem Post reported.
In the letter, released Thursday, the rabbis wrote that “the aggressive terror which accompanies the media’s brainwashing” designed to “destroy the concept of family and turn perverts into heroes will not succeed, and nor will the attempt to silence rabbis and sane people and turn them into delusional extremists.”
It was signed by prominent leaders of the hardline wing of the national-religious community, including Rabbi Dov Lior; president of the Har Hamor Yeshiva Rabbi Tzvi Tau; Chief Rabbi of Safed Shmuel Eliyahu; co-dean of the Eli pre-military academy Rabbi Yigal Levenstein; dean of the Ateret Yerushalayim Yeshiva Rabbi Shlomo Aviner; and Rabbi Ouri Cherki, an educator in the Machon Meir yeshiva.
The rabbis said they were writing in defense of Chief Rabbi of Jerusalem Aryeh Stern, who said last week that allowing surrogacy for gay couples would cause “children to be born and enter a very strange and unnatural life, a life without a mother and father,” and that these children’s lives would become “wretched.”
Stern’s comments addressed the strong backlash to the new surrogacy law recently passed in the Knesset, which extended access to surrogacy to include single women but not single men or gay couples.
What about Hamas, ISIS, Fatah? Their Imam are preaching all the time. You know what other countries in the Middle East do to Gays. A terrorist attack would be a perfect PR stunt for Hamas, ISIS, Fatah to show how they have "Purified Al-Quds" from the "Pervert Infidels". If the Real Torah Jews don't stand up and Pray, Fast, and Call out to Hashem in an anti-parade demonstration Hamas, ISIS, Fatah will show Hashem who has the moral high ground. What about Personal Prayer or Tehillim at the Kotel if you can not attend the anti-parade demonstration?

DeleteAbsolutely.
Bringing cars and blocking all driveways of every path is good idea
DeleteJack
Jack, it would be very interesting to see how many people would show up if the entrance to the city were blocked so that those being brought in from Tel Aviv could not get there.

FYI, in 2005...
3rd Night Of Anti-Gay Riots In Jerusalem
(Jerusalem) Police were pelted with stones and bottles Thursday night as members of the Haredi ultra Orthodox Jewish sect engaged in a third night of rioting over next week's planned gay pride march in Jerusalem.
More than two thousand members of the sect jammed into streets in an Orthodox neighborhood in a show of force aimed at pressuring authorities into canceling the parade.
As in the past two nights the protestors rolled garbage cans into intersections to block mounted police from getting to the demonstrators. The garbage was set on fire and some protestors engaged in fist to fist combat with police.
Three police officers and a TV news cameraman were injured - none seriously. That brings the total number of people injured in three days of violence to nearly a dozen.
Twenty-five protestors were arrested but leaders of the sect vowed that after a break for the Jewish Sabbath they will continue to demonstrate.
The Haredi's leaders appeared again tonight at the head of the protest wearing sack cloth, a Biblical sign of mourning.
The Haredi do not believe in a secular state and that all laws should be Biblically based. They frequently clash with non observant Jews who drive cars into their neighborhoods on the Sabbath.
In the Samarian settlement of Eli a homemade bomb was found at the doorway of a police station. The device, which had a sign attached to it saying "Sodomites Out!" was disarmed.
Earlier in the day members of other branches of Judaism also opposed to the parade met with representatives of Open House, the LGBT community center that puts on the parade, in an effort to maintain a dialogue.
The meeting was described as cordial but the two sides remain far apart on whether or not the parade should be held. They did however jointly condemn the riots, calling them counter productive.
Police and government officials also met today behind closed doors but emerged an hour later declining to say if they would cancel the parade.
Earlier on Thursday the controversy over the parade spread to Tel Aviv, Israel's largest city where a synagogue in a neighborhood shared by gays and Orthodox Jews.
Windows at the Geulot Israel synagogue were smashed and the words, "If we can't march in Jerusalem, you won't walk in Tel Aviv," were spray-painted on the outside of the building's walls.
LGBT groups in both Tel Aviv and Jerusalem immediately condemned the vandalism and some gays said they believe the attack was actually the work of members of the Haredi sect to vilify the community.
Also on Thursday a motion was filed with the High Court of Justice to try to block the parade from taking place on November 11. The motion, filed by Yehuda Meshi-Zahav, the leader of an Orthodox community group, ZAKA, says that the threat of violence puts the whole city at risk.
Last year when the city refused to issue a pride parade permit the center went to court and won an injunction forcing the city to allow the march.
The parade was marred by a series of violent attacks in which more than a than a dozen protestors were arrested and three people were stabbed.
Almost 1,000 protestors lined the parade route. Bottles of urine and bags containing feces were hurled at marchers.
Shortly after the parade began Shai Schlissel, a member of a militant Orthodox sect, rushed into the marchers on Ben Yehuda Street stabbing a man and a woman.
Others in the parade attempted to subdue him. The third victim was a marcher who went to the aid of the other two victims.
For whoever is interested in the whole history of this issue in Israel, see here
"The past few years have proved that it is possible to live a life that combines religious and LGBT identity, and that there is room for all of us even in the world of Torah,"....
ReplyDeleteReligious LGBT activists respond to rabbis calling them 'deviants'
They talk about their "identity" as a way of convincing the public, along with themselves, that this carnal desire which is forbidden to be acted upon is their essence and there is no choice but to accommodate it.
Even religious Jews who oppose LGBT "rights" are beginning to fall into this mindset. Well, the Creator knows best and if He links all forbidden relationships together - adultery, incest, bestiality and sodomy - then substitute any one of them for the other. Does anyone (yet) really believe that adulterers have an "identity?" Does an incestuous family member deserve special protections under the law? Yes, that's just how silly the whole notion is! And how utterly wrong!
Those so-called religious Jews who are appeasers to this lichluch are definitely NOT religious because they have NO Yirat Shamayim. Their whole religiousity is external but has absolutely no foundation and their sin is, therefore, even greater than the secular fools who are part of this chilul H'.
ReplyDeletethis aberration is so pervasive and has captured the government and nearly all of Israel, that I am at a loss for what in the world Hashem could do to punish them? Are we all doomed to His Retribution. I know Rabbi Mizrachi explained via his exposé of the Parsha, that when the 70 Elders did NOT PROTEST the people’s disrespect of Hashem, that Hashem sent a wrath of FIRE to consume these so-called “Leaders”, and anyone who did not protest was consumed along with them. Just like by the Golden Calf, and by Zimri and Kozbi….. I’m sure this also refers to what is happening now.
