Our "friend" and "ally" - the United States - stopped the war in Gaza and let Hamas escape justice. Trump's "20-point Peace Deal" called for a UN Peacekeeping Force in Gaza, very much like what has existed on the Lebanese border until now.
United Nations "Interim" Force In Lebanon
- Establishment: UNIFIL was established by the UN Security Council in 1978 to confirm the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Lebanon and to restore international peace and security.
- Expanded mandate: Following the 2006 crisis, its mandate was enhanced to include monitoring the cessation of hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah and assisting the Lebanese armed forces in deploying throughout southern Lebanon.
- Support for civilians: UNIFIL also provides assistance for humanitarian access and helps ensure the voluntary and safe return of displaced persons.
- Current status: The UN Security Council voted to extend UNIFIL's mandate through the end of 2026. The mission is then scheduled to withdraw through 2027, handing over control to the Lebanese Army.
- Troop contribution: Indonesia, India, Italy, and Ghana are among the countries that contribute troops to the mission.

US sends Gaza stabilization force resolution to UN Security Council members
The draft has been sent to several United Nations Security Council members and seeks to establish a two-year mandate for the force, aiming for international troops to enter Gaza by January 2026.
The Trump administration has circulated a draft of a UN Security Council resolution that proposes the establishment of a temporary International Stabilization Force (ISF) in the Gaza Strip, according to a document obtained by The Jerusalem Post. The move signals a new phase of international involvement in Gaza.According to the proposal, the ISF would operate under a unified command in close consultation and cooperation with Israel and Egypt. It would work alongside a newly trained and vetted Palestinian police force to help secure border areas and stabilize Gaza’s security environment.The ISF’s mandate would include overseeing the demilitarization of the Gaza Strip – a key Israeli demand – through the destruction of terrorist and military infrastructure, preventing its reconstruction, and ensuring the permanent disarmament of non-state armed groups.Additionally, the ISF would be tasked with protecting civilians, supporting humanitarian operations, providing training and assistance to the Palestinian police, and coordinating with relevant countries to secure humanitarian corridors.The draft also allows for the ISF to undertake “additional tasks as may be necessary” to support a broader comprehensive plan for Gaza’s recovery.The ISF is intended to operate until the end of 2027, with any renewal or modification of its mandate requiring consultation with Israel, Egypt, and the UN Security Council.Washington intends to formally submit the resolution within days, with a vote possible as early as next week, a person familiar with the matter told the Post.“The US wanted to move fast and see the force established before the end of the year,” the source said, adding that the administration views the ISF as a critical step in ensuring stability after months of conflict.Israeli officials, who have held talks with their US counterparts over the proposal, reportedly view the draft as largely aligned with Israel’s positions....Israeli officials hope that the framework will not be changed, but in light of the reservations, they express concern that the Americans will make concessions on some of the issues and agree to formulations and powers that Israel does not want.
They will do and say whatever is necessary to rationalize and excuse their treachery to the Nation of Israel, including that there is no other choice. Faithless cowardly criminals all!!!

So much treachery on the part of our government, so much success for our sworn enemies, they are not even afraid to come right and call it what it is - a "take-over"!!
"No other choice"? We have a choice! We have the same choice the American Colonists had with King George III's rule. We have the same choice the French had with King Louis XVI's rule. And the same choice that the founders of the Zionist State had with the British Mandate's rule.
Unfortunately for us, they didn't know what to do with this country once they had control of it. They've proven over the past 77 years that all they know how to do it trade land for a non-peace and allow our children's blood to be spilled in vain as they continue to bow to foreign pressure over and over again.
They explained their failures as "no other choice" (and continue to do so) until the people were so brain-washed with it that they couldn't imagine anything else.
This regime never worked properly, but it has now become an existential threat to the nation! Who do you think allowed Hamas the freedom and opportunity to arm itself and build the tunnel system and invade the country with virtually no opposition?
We cannot go on like this - the same failed policies, the same failed leaders, the same failed system. We are not living, we are merely existing, and now, even that is in serious question.
This ruling regime must go and it will go. The only real question is will it fall to our enemies or will it fall to us - the people of Israel in covenant relationship with our God - the Holy One of Israel!!!

I am afraid that we are at a very low place. Duh. Ever since I arrived in '97, I would ask native Israelis about the situation. The standard "right-wing" replies would come out of their mouths, even in Tel Aviv. But then this would be followed by words of helplessness: "But how can we implement all this?"
ReplyDeleteMy response would be the same every time: "I don't know, but if we continue to raise these issues and continue to talk about it, the answer will come."
This was then responded to with blank stares, and then their daily lives went on.
What can I say? The brainwashing in the Israeli public school system has worked, even in "religious" schools, especially in religious schools. I say this as someone who taught in religious schools for eight years, and then visited schools for 11 years as someone from the private sector.
As far as Trump goes, he seems to be setting up his own Pearl Harbor. U. S. Troops WILL be attacked, giving Trump the excuse he needs to engage with Hamas and bring more troops, needless to say, he will need infrastructure and support from the Israeli government. He will get it, too, due to fear, and due the fact that we have done nothing significant to work on financial autonomy.
Isn't this where they all gather "at the Gates of Yerushalayim" and on the "Har" which will then divide and they all will be eliminated. I know I don't have it straight, so someone else make it clear. It just seems Hashem is gathering them all and setting them up for the big crush? (Neshama)
