A solution was reached yesterday to the issue of visas for visiting Christian groups — which dominated headlines last week after a furious letter from US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee was leaked to the press — in a meeting yesterday between the Prime Minister’s Office, the Interior Ministry, and the US embassy, an Israeli lawyer who represents Christians in Israel tells The Times of Israel.“Thanks to the hard work and fruitful cooperation between the US Ambassador, the Ministry of Interior and the Prime Minister’s Office, a solution has been reached to the satisfaction of all parties,” says Calev Myers. “The Evangelical Christian organizations active in Israel, which represent the vast majority of Zionists in the world today, will receive all of the visas they need through a streamlined and efficient application process.”In his letter to Interior Minister Moshe Arbel last week, Huckabee threatened to publicly declare that Israel no longer welcomes Christian groups to Israel over what he said was Jerusalem’s failure to approve tourist visas for evangelical missions.
Once again, the issue was never about "tourist" visas for Chr*stians "visiting" Israel. This is about A3 visas for resident clergy and staff of resident Chr*stian organizations. This one did manage to get one thing right when they called them "missions"!!

Hundreds, if not thousands, of 'support' staff are now entering on "clergy" visas. Each person granted one of these visas is allowed to bring spouse and children with them and all of them are eligible for this visa which is only renewed once a year and up to five years. However, the State is not strict with these rules. After three years of living in Israel they can apply for citizenship!!
To obtain Israeli citizenship through naturalization as a non-Jew, a resident must live in Israel for three consecutive years with permanent residency status. Additionally, they must demonstrate that Israel is their primary place of residence and prove a certain level of Hebrew language proficiency.

US Ambassador Mike Huckabee has written a scathing letter to Interior Minister Moshe Arbel, blasting his office for not granting visas to Christian groups trying to visit Israel, Channel 12 reports. ...Huckabee sent copies of his letter to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, President Isaac Herzog, Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar, Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer and Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana.[Minister Arbel responded]: “Given the direct line of communication between my staff and your representatives,” writes Arbel, “and in light of the fact that every request received by my office has thus far been handled promptly, I was particularly surprised by the manner in which your concerns were raised — and by your decision to address your letter to a wide range of senior officials without first approaching me or my office directly.”
You can see more details here and here. If you need more, just Google it. There must be 20 articles which I did not take the time to read but each one has a threatening, demanding and insulting headline. They clearly wanted the whole world to know!
The thing is, it's being portrayed as an issue of hassling Chr*stian tourists, but nothing could be further from the truth! Tourists from the United States do not need to pre-apply for a visa to visit Israel. It is automatically granted on arrival and no one asks your religious or political views.
However, if one intends to stay long term, one must leave Israel and re-renter to renew the three-month tourist visa (over and over again) and that is a thorn in the side of the missionaries, especially groups like Hayovel who serve as a conduit for funneling in so-called Christian Zionist (Judeo-Chr*stian) agricultural workers.
The only visa presently available for long term Chr*stian workers is the A3...
Eligibility Criteria: A/3 Clergy Visa - Must be invited by an established and recognized religious organization in Israel. Must provide evidence of their suitability for the religious assignment, such as ordination credentials or theological school certificates. May need to undergo an interview at an Israeli mission.
From what I've been able to gather there might have been some kind of "understanding" about the possible granting of blocks of visas to organizations to be disbursed as they saw fit. If anyone has any actual proof of this, please forward it to me.

...According to quotes from Huckabee’s letter published by Israeli media, the ministry had subjected each organization to independent, detailed and bureaucratic investigation processes, requiring documentation of their religious beliefs and activities in Israel. For the duration of these processes, the groups were reportedly denied new visas.

This includes organizations such as the Baptist Conference in Israel, the Christian Missionary Alliance and others, some of which have been active here since before 1948. The vast majority of them are located in the United States. All of them were required to fill out huge questionnaires. To my knowledge, none of them have received new A3 visas for religious leaders since the beginning of the year. We simply requested that the visa department return to status quo," Huckabee wrote.“As the U.S. Ambassador representing President Donald Trump, I am formally demanding that this deteriorating relationship with the Department of State be resolved so that this matter does not escalate further,” Huckabee added. “It would be deeply regrettable if our embassy were to be forced to publicly announce throughout the United States that the State of Israel no longer welcomes Christian organizations and their representatives and that, instead, it is engaging in harassment and negative treatment of organizations with longstanding ties and positive engagement with Zionism. We will be further obligated to warn Christians in America that their generous donations to organizations in Israel are being met with hostility, and that tourists should reconsider travel until the situation is clearly resolved.”
Such inciteful language no doubt helped to fuel Matt Gaetz's diatribe based on the false narrative suggested by the Ambassador's skewed version of events and the very unprofessional way he has chosen to deal with it.

I doubt Jews had anything to do with that church but that doesn't mean we are not commanded by God to do that very thing. They can't accept that we have any right or reason to reject their presence in God's Land.

Jews have been singled out by every administration since Bush Jr.
His disgusting handling of the Rubashkin situation. And there were FBI investigations of Jewish dual citizens, including, I believe, a Fox reporter.
It was reported Under Obama the question of dual loyalty and whether a Jewish soldier would still fight if the US were at war with Israel. Under Biden the visa question also came up.
For the last couple of decades there has been plenty of anti Jewish and anti Israel actions. I actually assumed Trump would have selected a "Jew" to be ambassador, Not a Xtian.

Her amendment to strike the 500 million in missiles to Israel centered on Israel having nuclear weapons. She repeated so many times one would assume she meant Israel should have used those weapons on Iran.

From what has been disclosed it appears the new F47 is using technology that Israel developed for the F35. It also seems like the Patriot system didn't become effective Until Israel developed the Iron Dome, and then shared the technology with the US. One person made a valid point about "foreign aid" to Israel. It was described as, essentially, discount coupons which is used for military hardware. Do countries like Egypt give any return for their aid.

This is just from a practical point of view. Rav Anava said the more Jews there are in Israel teh stronger our hold on the land politicallyh an spiritually, (and obviously physically, there wouldn't be room for all the missionaries and the illegals and the others). When we allow for years the missionizing to continue and do nothing about it, naturally, they will take advantage of the stupidity of those that allow it. thus giving the missionaries and those behind it permission to treat the State as a protectorate. Where there is no self-respect and love for our holy Land given to us by the Almighty, then why should it be surprising that everyone else can see and think Israel is not so sovereign? We knew about the so-called "righteous attack" on the family in Afghanistan. But Trump's "protectorate" had better not step out of line. It could jeopardize his "Nobel Prize" goals.
