The US has obtained new intelligence suggesting that Israel is making preparations to strike Iranian nuclear facilities, even as the Trump administration has been pursuing a diplomatic deal with Tehran, multiple US officials familiar with the latest intelligence told CNN.Such a strike would be a brazen break with President Donald Trump, US officials said. It could also risk tipping off a broader regional conflict in the Middle East — something the US has sought to avoid since the war in Gaza inflamed tensions beginning in 2023. (Source)
Either it's true and they are sabotaging our chances for success, or it's erroneous and they are inviting Iran to make a pre-emptive strike on us in self-defense. Either way you slice it, they are playing with our very lives. But then, as Shlomo HaMelech so aptly said: "There's nothing new under the sun."
This comes after England, Spain, France, Canada and the Netherlands yesterday called for heavy sanctions on Israel in order to force our surrender to Hamas.

Or are they expecting something to happen with Iran and they cancelled for his safety?

Could be, but that's a petty, lethal game to play with Jewish lives, if so. The VP was supposed to be here to oversee (and take credit for) the next round of hostage releases which was supposed to be completed by his visit and then it wasn't, so...
DeleteI still don't think that many around Trump will be sad about an attack on Iran, certainly not the neo-cons still hanging around who believe Iran to be dangerous to their own skins, U. S. and Europe.

ReplyDeleteBTW, I actually have now made the right corrections on the previous blog post. I was very confused. I included a Talmudic reference to make my point (Yoma 10a), but the quote I used was from the Pesikta Rabbati. When I was informed of that fact, I changed the reference appropriately, but the quote I actually wanted to use WAS from Yoma 10a, so the entire thing has now been replaced with the information I had originally intended to share, along with a nice short video clip that I found over at Yeranen Yaakov. Many thanks for your patience and forbearance.

ReplyDeleteNothing new under the sun. The US state department since it's founding, has been leaking classified information and stabbing Israel in the back. The US state department does not operate in a vacuum, so despite all the diplomatic smiles and handshakes, they have undermined and continue to undermine our independence and sovereignty. Empty and deceiving rhetoric about "the special relationship", and unbreakable bonds by visiting American officials is just a smoke and mirrors narrative concealing official US government policy regarding the State of Israel. US State Department actions are official US government policy, despite the duplicitous rhetoric.
The State Department in 2012 leaked intelligence information to the Iranians regarding IDF plans to strike Iran's nuclear program. In 2014, Obama threatened that he would order the US Air Force to shoot down Israeli jets en route to Iran.
American policy, culture and influence has destroyed Israel. It is simply a miracle from HKBH that this state still exists in any form.
So be prepared for the leaks, backstabbing and sabotage to continue, it is after all, official US policy. The daylight is beginning to show in "the special relationship."

ReplyDeleteTorah sources indicate that this is a showdown between Eisav and Yishmael. Anytime they are at odds and fighting among themselves, it is good for the Jews.
