Deeply meditate on the following numbers.  

According to the most recent report out today, after a sudden increase in cases reported over the previous week (up to 504 cases in 24 hrs on Thursday), as of Shabbat, there has been a more downward trend with 398 cases being reported, and it's down again today to 183.

There has also been a decline in the number of serious cases (from 45 to 39 over the same time period) while those in moderate condition increased from 50 to 60.

There are currently 211 people hospitalized nationwide with COVID-19 and 22 (down from 24) are on respirators.

Please note that even while the number of infected was increasing, likely due to increased testing (a certain percentage of which will be false positives!), the numbers considered serious and critical (on vents) remained stable throughout.

A grand total of 318 people have died of COVID-19 in Israel since statistics began to be counted (at least four months).

Out of a total population of 8,655,535, that is a percentage of 0.004.  Statistically speaking, that is a very negligible number.  By comparison, in 2016, 11,077 people in Israel died of cancer, lo aleynu!

Can anyone explain to me how these following headlines can be justified in light of what we see from these statistics?

Propaganda only succeeds with a population that doesn't pay attention, does not bother to ask questions, and either won't or can't connect the dots.

It is now being widely reported across Israel that the missionary GodTV's Shelanu channel airing over HOT cable has been shut down by the Ministry of Communications for not being in compliance with the claims on their license application.  B"H!!!  And thanks to all who helped.  

"I Can't Breathe"

Those protesting aggressive police restraints that have resulted in the unjustified deaths of many black men in America are carrying signs on which are written the final words these men were able to voice - "I can't breathe."  Their pleas for relief were ignored.

At the same time, you've got nations worldwide requiring, under force of law, the wearing of surgical masks in an effort to curb the spread of the coronavirus.  The mask, especially in the summertime heat, makes it very difficult for many people to breathe.  

Not to mention the fact that the coronavirus attacks the lungs and that those who contract it suffer breathing difficulties as a result with many being put on oxygen and even ventilators.

Now,  there's another reason for Americans to have trouble breathing...

Saharan dust cloud cloaks U.S. Gulf Coast in choking haze

What's been called the most significant dust cloud in 50 years has now shrouded the U.S. Gulf Coast in a thick, dusty haze. The dust layer, which originated in the Sahara desert and drifted across the Atlantic, is forecast to continue moving north and east through the weekend, impacting areas from Texas and Florida all the way up to as far north as the Canadian border.

For most people, the dust will merely be a nuisance, but for many who have breathing issues the extra particulates in the atmosphere can cause complications. The timing couldn't be much worse, considering that a recent Harvard study shows that long-term exposure to fine particles of pollution in the air, much like dust, may be linked to higher rates of hospitalization and death due to COVID-19.

Currently the dust is thickest from Texas to Florida. [Reportedly the two states currently showing the greatest increase in COVID-19 infections.]

HOUSTON SKYLINE (MY HOMETOWN)

Clearly, the Master of the Universe is trying to tell us something. Of course, no one can survive if they can't breathe.  But did you ever think about why this is so?  Why did the Creator make it this way?  What does He want us to understand from this?  Here are some clues that I found which may help us reach a conclusion.

The Spiritual Side of Respiratory Problems

The Hebrew word for lung, “re’ah” is an anagram for “r’iyah,” (to see), ”aryeh,” (lion), and especially “yir’ah,” (awe) of God. The two levels of the lungs are yir’ah (awe), and simcha (joy). The spiritual rectification for respiratory problems is in the verses, ” Serve God with awe,” combined with “serve God with joy.” Fear of anything other than God is the opposite of proper respiratory function. A person suffering from respiratory problems should strengthen his faith in God, his pleasure in Torah and mitzvot, and his will to fulfill the mitzvot immediately, thus bringing pleasure to God, himself and the entire world.

Also...

...In addition to his material self,...man possesses a soul which is unique among all of God's creations. In describing the creation of Adam, the Torah says, "God formed man out of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils a soul-breath of life (Nishmat Chaim). Man [thus] became a living creature (Nefesh Chaya)" (Genesis 2:7).

The Torah is teaching us that the human soul came directly from God's innermost Essence in the same way that a breath issues forth from a person's lungs and chest cavity. The rest of creation, on the other hand, was created with speech, which is a lower level, for just as sound waves are generated by a person but do not contain any air from the lungs, so the rest of creation emanates from God's Power but not from His Essence.

Three Parts

The soul consists of three parts which are called by the Hebrew names, nefesh, ruach and neshama. The word neshama is a cognate of nesheema, which means literally "breath." Ruach means "wind." Nefesh comes from the root nafash, meaning "rest," as in the verse, "On the seventh day, [God] ceased work and rested (nafash)." (Exodus 31:17).

God's exhaling a soul can be compared to a glassblower forming a vessel. The breath (neshama) first leaves his lips, travels as a wind (ruach) and finally comes to rest (nefesh) in the vessel. Of these three levels of the soul, neshama is therefore the highest and closes to God, while nefesh is that aspect of the soul residing in the body. Ruach stands between the two, binding man to his spiritual Source. It is for this reason that Divine Inspiration is called Ruach HaKodesh in Hebrew.

The neshama is affected only by thought, the ruach by speech, and the nefesh by action. (Source)

From all this we can understand that mankind is losing its connection to the Creator and thereby bringing about its own demise. And we can see further the connection between the difficulty breathing and the sin of lashon hara.- that it is literally a matter of life and death.

We are in the final hour.  There is not much time left to make corrections.  The world is dying for each breathe even as I write this.  Strengthen your connection to your Creator through obedience to His Will and you will be able to take nice, deep, cleansing breaths and fill your lungs to their capacity.  And don't forget to thank Him for it!!

CULTURAL WAR RAGING

Yes, we are at war on every level of life in this country.  It is an all-out assault which threatens to annihilate the soul and cut us off from this land - sullying and destroying whatever kedusha is left in this world.  And the United States is at the very forefront leading the attack.

It's not coincidental that the US Embassy office on Agron Street hung a large banner celebrating "Pride" last week, as the park opposite this building, appropriately named Independence Park, has always been the Pride crowd's favored spot for their annual celebration.  You will likely recall that the annual parade's starting point is usually Liberty Bell Park - also not coincidentally named - and passes in front of the American Cultural Center whose raison d'etre is to export American culture to the Holy City.  It's also the most notable Anglo area of Jerusalem - Rehavia/Talbiya.

After telling us that the parades would be cancelled this year, "rallies" have now been approved and it's all taking place today.

I only found out about it this morning when reading about these "pre-emptive arrests"...

3 right-wing activists arrested ahead of LGBTQ rally in Jerusalem

Three activists from the Jewish extremist group Lehava were arrested in the early hours of Sunday morning on suspicion that they were planning to disrupt a pro-LGBTQ rally set to take place in Jerusalem.

...The Jerusalem Municipality sparked an uproar on Tuesday by removing an LGBTQ pride banner from an external wall of a US embassy facility in the capital. The city’s far-right deputy mayor said the embassy had failed to request permission to hang the sign, which expressed support for “tolerance and diversity.”

Depicted as "anti-coexistence" rather than anti-assimilationist, Lehava has also been labeled "extremist" and a "terrorist" group because it opposes Western cultural "values" in deference to the Torah.

A few weeks ago, Rabbi Ben Tzion Gopstein who founded Lehava was put on trial for charges of being "the leader of a Jewish extremist group, ...incitement to violence, racism, and terrorism." The charges were brought by the Reform movement's Israel Religious Action Center. (Source)

Oh, and in case you missed it, the Women of the Wall inciters were back in force at the Kotel on Rosh Chodesh Tammuz.  

There can be no "unity" with other Jews in outright rebellion against the Master of the Universe.  Like we saw in the episode of the Golden Calf and again, in the episode with Korach - the loyalists MUST separate themselves and distance themselves from the contentious rebels, else we will share their ill-fate.

The Legitimate Rights of the Ammonites - Rav Binyamin Ze'ev Kahane, Hy"d, ztz"l

The modern concept of “Jewish occupied territories” rears its ugly head in Parashat Chukat and our Haftarah of the Shabbat.  In our Parashah, the kings Og and Sichon prevent the Jewish People from passing through their borders on their way to the Land of Israel.  Not only that, but they even wage war against us – and lose.  The children of Israel conquer their land and do not let go.  Interestingly enough, the following idiotic idea never dawned on either of the parties involved: O.K., we tried to annihilate you and we did not succeed, so just give us back what you conquered from us during our attempt to wipe you out, and in exchange we promise not to try to wipe you out again.  No, such a proposition was never raised.  When you lose, you lose, without dictating conditions afterwards.

“Land for Peace”: And what if Sichon would have come to Israel and demanded “land for peace”?  What would have been the reaction then?  To answer this question, we are forced to move the clock ahead another 300 years until we arrive at the Haftarah of our Parashah.  That is precisely what happens.  The king of Ammon brazenly demands that Israel return to him the territories that were conquered, and if they refuse, there will be war.  The difference between him and the Arabs of today is that the king of Ammon is a lot more “moderate”.  He personally has no previous “record” of hostility towards the Jewish People.  He simply makes a very limited albeit uncompromising request.  “Because Israel took away my land when they came out of Egypt, from Ammon as far as the Yabbok and the Jordan.”  (Judges 11:13)  The king of Ammon does not want everything.  He does not seek the liquidation of the Jewish entity.  He simply wants that which was taken from him.  He is simply demanding to exercise the historical right of his people.  And then, as if he jumped off the pages of the Tanach into today's reality, he concludes in the following manner: “Now, therefore, restore those lands peacefully.”  (Judges 11:13)  “Peace”.  That magic word.  What normal Jewish leader can refuse such an offer?  After all, it is not an illogical claim; the lands were taken from them.  They once even had a sovereign empire with a capital and an army there.  And most importantly, here is a genuine opportunity for peace: “No more war, no more bloodshed.”

“Not one Inch”: But Yiftach's answer is a real knockout.  He recounts all the relevant past history, and then concludes: “So now the L-rd of Israel has driven out the Emori from before his people Israel, and you should possess the land?!  Will you not possess what your god Kemosh gives you to possess?  So likewise that which the L-rd our G-d has voided before us, that shall we possess.”  (Judges 11:23,24)  This is the reaction of a true Jewish leader.  A reaction of emunah [faith].  The land is ours not because of any “historical claim” or because we are strong, but rather because G-d gave it to us . And pay attention how Yiftach even mocks the Ammonite god “Kemosh” - take what he gives you, but from us you will get nothing – not an inch.

“How to subdue the Enemy”: How can we begin to understand the minds of those Jews, particularly religious ones, who do not grasp all this.  The cursed Arab enemy has initiated war after war against us in an effort to obliterate us, and he has failed each time.  Each time G-d has granted us great miracles to overcome them, yet we insist on being ingrates, not recognizing the miracles.  Only when we understand that our true right to the land is based on the ultimately ethical concept that G-d gave it to us – only then will we get the results that Yiftach achieved, “thus the children of Ammon were subdued by the children of Israel.”

It Doesn't Matter How Much or How Little...

On July 1, when Netanyahu releases his plan for sovereignty over parts of Judea and Samaria and the Jordan Valley, it will be the first time that the general public can view an approved format. It will most likely cover the points hammered out in intense discussions this week between the White House and Netanyahu. (Source)

Just like we did not know on May 25, 2020, which was the day following Rosh Chodesh Sivan, that the death of a man named George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police that day would set off riots and demonstrations around the world, so it is not always obvious from the beginning how significant an event will turn out to be.

But, I have no doubts whatsoever that the significant event for Tammuz will turn out to be traceable back to whatever was decided in the White House in Washington, DC during the meetings held there on Monday and Tuesday, June 22 and 23, both days of Rosh Chodesh Tammuz, regarding Israel's annexation of West Bank territory.

Citing unnamed American and Israeli sources, the report said US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman is to fly home on Sunday for the pivotal meeting, which is scheduled for Monday or Tuesday, and which is also to be attended by Jared Kushner, President Donald Trump’s senior adviser and son-in-law; Secretary of State Mike Pompeo; and National Security Adviser Richard O’Brien. Friedman may meet with Netanyahu and Alternate Prime Minister Benny Gantz before he leaves.

Trump himself is “likely” to join the session, the report said, since “he’s the one who will ultimately decide” on whether to approve Israeli annexation, and if so on what scale.

...Rather than back Netanyahu’s broad annexation plan, the administration is looking at other options, including a staged process in which Israel would start by declaring sovereignty only over several settlements in the Jerusalem area, the report said, citing an unnamed source.

In the end, it doesn't matter how much or how little they do, the Arabs will use it as an excuse to go to war. The signs are already there...

A Palestinian man was shot and killed while attempting to run over Border Police officers with his car in the West Bank Tuesday afternoon, Israeli police said.

Police said in a statement that the incident, which took place in the West Bank town of Abu Dis east of Jerusalem, appeared to be a deliberate attack.

...The incident took place days before a possible Israeli annexation of some as-yet unspecified portion of the West Bank, as the Israel Defense Forces prepared for a wide range of scenarios for potential regional fallout — up to and including a large-scale wave of terror attacks.

According to a Channel 12 news report Sunday, the IDF is preparing for three possible violent reactions to annexation.

The first would see mass protests by Palestinians; the second, shooting and car-ramming attacks in the West Bank; the third, a return to the waves of suicide bombings seen during the Second Intifada in 2000-2004. (Source)

IDF Chief of Staff Aviv Kovahi warned Wednesday Israel could soon face violent unrest in the West Bank, which could easily spread to Gaza, as the army preps for possible violence in response to the government’s plans to begin annexing lands claimed by the Palestinians. (Source)

And while the Americans are plotting in Washington how best to strip our Holy Land from our hands and give it to our enemies as a base from which to launch their final solution, they are pushing their decadent "values" on Israel in a continuing culture war...

US embassy removes Pride sign in spat with Jerusalem municipality

The US Embassy in Jerusalem removes a pride sign after the city claims it must request permission to hang the LGBT banner.

“The PRIDE sign at the US Embassy Jerusalem was temporarily taken down today [Tuesday, June 23, 2020] pending a discussion with the City of Jerusalem municipal government. The PRIDE sign will be rehung as soon as possible on the Embassy property,” the US Embassy says in a statement.

Hebrew media reports say Deputy Mayor Arieh King sent inspectors to cover up the sign.

Sources in the municipality tell the Walla news site that the sign was removed due to the embassy’s failure to gain approval from the municipality.

But Deputy Mayor Fleur Hassan Nahoum says on Twitter that no such approval is required.  (Source: TOI)

Inspectors from the Jerusalem Municipality ordered the US Embassy to remove a banner marking Pride month at a building belonging to the embassy near the Old City on Tuesday, after Deputy Mayor Arieh King complained that the banner was displayed illegally and called it an "impurity."

...The sign was displayed on the property of the US Embassy's Palestinian Affairs Unit on Agron Street, near the Mamilla pedestrian mall.

King stated that "any body that tries to defile the holiness of Jerusalem needs to be opposed. Whether it is an Israeli body and of course when it comes to a guest who has come to the city," according to Arutz Sheva.

"I expect the municipality to handle it quickly and efficiently and to remove the impurity from the public area of Jerusalem," said King.

...The United States is committed to protecting LGBTI and other marginalized communities around the world," said the Embassy in a statement. "All human beings deserve to be treated with dignity and respect and are endowed with the same unalienable rights." (Source)

How ironic!  Such a thing would not pass anywhere in the Palestinian Authority!!

And then there is this just in: 

Airstrikes were reported Tuesday evening in two areas in Syria, with some reports attributing the deadly strikes to Israel. ...According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a Britain-based watchdog, Israeli air forces targeted sites operated by Iranian militias in both Tel A-Sahn and Kobajjep. ...It was the fourth incident of alleged Israeli strikes in Syria in the past month.  

Earlier in the day, IDF chief Aviv Kochavi visited troops in northern Israel and warned they may soon need to shift attention to the West Bank and Gaza, should violence break out in response to Israeli annexation plans. (Source)

Air quality across most of the region fell to record “hazardous” levels and experts who nicknamed the event the “Godzilla dust cloud” warned people to stay indoors and use air filters.

“This is the most significant event in the past 50 years,” said Pablo Méndez Lázaro, an environmental health specialist with the University of Puerto Rico. “Conditions are dangerous in many Caribbean islands.”

Hello everyone. Many of us have decided to embark upon a journey of higher level tikkunim for 40 days starting motsay Shabbat to primarily help rectify the sin of the spies (lashon hara on the land of Israel) and the huge sin of detracting from Hashem’s honor by buying into their story and fearing anything but HaShem.  There is nothing to fear when it comes to living in Israel. Talking Lashon Hara about the land of Israel or living in it?  THAT is the fear!  One should fear down to their very essence and tremble to even be associated with someone who does that.

Some of us are making a taanit dibur (verbal fast) for 40 days - which brings me to my point. The chat was a nice experiment but on whole the chat platform does not lend support to the verbal fast endeavor and is too much of a slippery slope in general to be beneficial and as such, I will be taking the chat down. Rabbi Anava will continue post updates and lectures in the channel as usual, BH.

I would like to again stress to all those that feel the need to move to Israel and are hearing HaShem’s call, that by opening your eyes, HaShem has opened a gate for you! It is a blessing! Not everyone gets this blessing and those that don’t - just wont “get it”. If you have been blessed with this blessing it also means the gates of Teshuvah have also been opened for you!! There are many gates of Teshuvah. The trick is to find YOUR gate (and then push through it)... Regarding this, Tehillim is your key. One can find and open their gate of Teshuvah with the book of Tehillim. My advice? Act on it ASAP! (while you still can)… Cry, beg, plead with HaShem that He will hear your prayers and get you to Israel. If you are already in Israel it is incumbent upon you to help those that are trying to get here, to get here. In the coming days, HaShem willing, either I or Rabbi Anava will post more on this with some helpful links. Do not despair! We are praying for you!

Perhaps…. Perhaps our collective 40 day tikkun / teshuvah effort will endear us a little to HaShem just enough that he allows the travel ban to be lifted, even if only for a few minutes. When it happens (HaShem willing) grab your packed bags and book the first flight out before the next quarantine.. Before its too late - Abandon ship or go down with it. Its time to sink or swim. It's your choice.. Teshuvah.. prayer… its all in your hands. Turn to HaShem, He is waiting.

Diaspora Jews like to say that "Israel is galut [exile] also."  But, there is a big difference between the galut of the nations and the "galut" of Eretz Yisrael.  Among the nations, the Jews are physically mired in exile and can only get out of it by picking themselves up and resettling themselves in Eretz Yisrael.

The "galut" of Eretz Yisrael exists only insofar as the returning Jews have brought it in with them.  It's a mental state which can be changed at any time, instantaneously.

A Solstice Solar Eclipse Is About To Happen

...On Saturday, June 20, 2020, the solstice will occur as the Earth's north pole reaches its maximum tilt towards the Sun. Just 9 hours later, the Moon will pass perfectly between the Earth and the Sun, creating an annular solar eclipse for a myriad of observers across Africa and Asia. It's an incredibly rare occurrence to have a solstice solar eclipse,....

The solar eclipse occurring on the June solstice of this year, 2020, occurs precisely 19 years after the last solar eclipse on a solstice: June 21, 2001 [30 Sivan!].  

We know that these events are intended as signs for the world and that solar eclipses are significant for the nations.  Considering that the attack of 9/11 happened three months after the previous such eclipse, we have to wonder if this one will have a matching bookend to finish out this period of history.  Is it a sign of something really big coming again around 23 Elul this year?

Another Sign We Are in a Transition Period Into Messianic Times

And it shall be at the end of the days,...the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of man shall be humbled, and the Lord alone shall be exalted on that day. And the idols shall completely pass away. (Yeshayahu 2.2, 17-18)

Like everything about life in This World (Olam HaZeh), there is a predetermined destination.  Our choices only dictate whether we will arrive at it by the short, peaceful route through submission to the Will of our Creator, or by the long, hard road,  a detour taken by those who rebel against the authority of HKB"H.

A prime example of this is illustrated by the journey of Bnei Yisrael from Egypt to Eretz Cana'an.  It should have taken eleven days.  Instead, it was forty years.

The whole world is on the Road to Redemption-in-its-Time - the longest, hardest road there is - but rest assured that the destination is still glorious, regardless of how we get there.

The inhabitants of Earth should be tearing down all the statues ("You shall not make for yourselves any graven image.") out of love for HKB"H and in obedience to His commandments.  Instead, they are doing it out of the attitude of rebellion that rules their hearts in these turbulent times.

Either way, this is a start towards a world where no "graven images" at all are tolerated, as per the expressed desire of our Creator.

Jews don't need statues to remember our history

...SO HOW is it we remember as a people, scattered over dozens of countries worldwide, our history – and the goodies and the baddies? Our community memory is an oral memory; we are not called the People of the Book for nothing. We write things down and discuss them. We made sure they were handed down from generation to generation....

Of course, this is happening mainly in the United States - the country that makes the biggest show of its Biblical heritage.  I found this recent image of members of Congress "taking a knee" in the presence of idols in the US Capitol to be particularly thought-provoking.

Intifada In France? Jewish MP: “I’m Afraid It’s Too Late For France”

A frightening scenario is occurring in France in recent days in the city of Dijon, with four consecutive days of guerrilla warfare between Chechen and Muslim gangs, complete with Kalashnikov rifles and other weapons, iron bars, gunshots and shouts of “Allah Akbar.”

The violence, apparently sparked by an alleged assault on a Chechen teenager, is centered in the low-income district of Grésilles, which has a large Muslim population. Cars have been set on fire, a police officer lynched, over a dozen wounded, and despite the hundreds of anti-riot police deployed, not one arrest has been made.

Meyer Habib, a Jewish Member of the French Parliament, wrote on social media: “After the anti-Semitic outbursts when they screamed “Dirty Jews!” these images reflect a harsh reality in France of 2020. And what are we doing? Nothing!”

“Furthermore, the extreme left wants to dismantle the police. Instead of suspending our police forces – “the suspects of racism” – it would be better to invest our means in enforcing order. It’s an upside-down world. The Republic is falling. It pains me about France and I’m afraid it’s too late.”

It Has Already Begun - "The Boogaloo Boys"

In my last blog post, I explained why a right-wing response to Antifa had to arise in light of the ongoing protests in America right now.  Apparently, it already started as reported...

Extreme-right ‘boogaloo’ follower charged with killing cop at US racism protest

WASHINGTON — A California Air Force sergeant with ties to the extreme-right “boogaloo” movement was charged Tuesday with the murder of an Oakland policeman during Black Lives Matter protests, one of two police officers he is accused of killing in recent weeks.

The Justice Department said Steven Carrillo gunned down Oakland police officer Patrick Underwood in a drive-by shooting from a white van during the May 29 protests over the police killing of a handcuffed African American man in Minneapolis.
Eight days later, on June 6, Carrillo’s van was discovered to the south near Santa Cruz, and when police neared Carillo’s residence, he ambushed them and killed another officer, Damon Gutzwiller.

...Officials said the Air Force security specialist was associated with the underground “boogaloo bois” ideology, which espouses a mix of anti-government extremism and civil and race war. Its followers often openly carry assault weapons and wear military-like and flowery Hawaiian garb in public.

According to local reports, Carillo — who had weapons, ammunition and materials for bombs in his van and home — wrote “boog” on the hood of a car in his own blood when he was arrested.

“The boogaloo term is used by extremists to reference a violent uprising or impending civil war in the United States,” said US Attorney David Anderson on Tuesday during a press conference in Oakland.

It was the second case of far-right extremists being arrested in relation to the protests against police brutality that swept the nation after the May 25 killing of George Floyd by a Minneapolis police officer, since charged with murder.

On June 3, Las Vegas police arrested three men also associated with the boogaloo movement and charged them for attempting to incite riot and start fires during a Black Lives Matter protest.

The three, two formerly in the military and one in the army reserve, had originally sought to stir up violence in mid-May protests against the coronavirus shutdown, the indictment said, citing a confidential FBI source.

On May 30, they decided to try to use the protests over Floyd’s death as a cover to stir up violence, preparing guns, ammunition and Molotov cocktails.

One “was very upset that the protests were not turning violent,” the indictment said.

In case you think this might be an isolated event, think again.

THE BOOGALOO BOYS (BOIS)

...The boogaloo movement, adherents to which are often referred to as boogaloo boys or boogaloo bois, is a loosely organized American far-right extremist movement.

Participants generally identify as a libertarian citizen-militia, and say they are preparing for a second American Civil War, which they call the "boogaloo". Widespread use of the term dates from late 2019, and adherents use the term (including variations, so as to avoid social media crackdowns) to refer to violent uprisings against the federal government or left-wing political opponents, often anticipated to follow government confiscation of firearms.

The movement consists of pro-gun, anti-government groups. The specific ideology of each group varies, and views on some topics such as race differ widely. Some are white supremacist or neo-Nazi groups who believe that the impending unrest will be a race war; however other groups condemn racism and white supremacy. The boogaloo movement primarily organizes online (particularly on Facebook), and participants have appeared at in-person events including the 2020 United States anti-lockdown protests and the May 2020 George Floyd protests. They are often identified by their attire of Hawaiian shirts and military fatigues, and are heavily armed. In May and June 2020, Facebook acted to limit the movement's activities and visibility across its social media platforms.

...Extremism researchers first took notice of the word "boogaloo" being used in the context of the boogaloo movement in 2019, when they observed it being used among fringe groups including militias, gun rights movements, and white supremacist groups. This usage of the term is believed to have originated on the fringe imageboard website 4chan, where it was often accompanied by references to "racewar" and "dotr" (day of the rope, a neo-Nazi reference to a fantasy involving murdering what the posters view to be "race traitors"). Researchers from the Network Contagion Research Institute (NCRI) found that the usage of the term "boogaloo" increased by 50% on Facebook and Twitter in the last months of 2019 and into early 2020. They attribute surges in popularity to a viral incident in November 2019, when a military veteran posted content mentioning the boogaloo on Instagram during a standoff with police, and to the December 2019 impeachment of Donald Trump. The boogaloo movement experienced a further surge in popularity following the lockdowns that were implemented to try to slow the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States, and the Tech Transparency Project observed that the boogaloo groups appeared to be encouraged by President Trump's tweets about "liberating" states under lockdown. The Tech Transparency Project also found that 60% of boogaloo Facebook groups had emerged following the pandemic lockdowns, during which time they amassed tens of thousands of adherents. A Facebook spokesperson said that Facebook and Instagram had changed their policies as of May 1 to "prohibit the use of ['Boogaloo' and related] terms when accompanied by statements and images depicting armed violence." On a related subject - the 'original' antifa?

I knew from my reading of history that the Nazi movement played on the public's fear of communism to gain their support, but I had never read in-depth on the communist party's actions in pre-WWII Germany.  It isn't so easy to find.  It's like every history wants to focus on Nazism as if it sprang fully formed from the ground.  But had it not been for the activities of communist agents and sympathizers, it is very possible that Nazism would never have gone mainstream.

We've seen it before in the ages-long rivalry between Christianity and Islam.  It would seem that when one extreme comes into the world, its opposite extreme follows in order to bring the world back into balance.  If true, then communism would by necessity bring in its wake fascism.  The question now is whether America, with the rise of Antifa, now stands at this crossroads where fascism enters the picture in a very big way.

Everyone has likely heard the truism:  "Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it."  Is history repeating itself now in 2020 America?  [How ironic that there is a global pandemic going on now just as there was in 1918-1920?]

Engineering A Race War: Will This Be The American Police State's Reichstag Fire?

It’s the Reichstag Fire all over again.

It was February 1933, a month before national elections in Germany, and the Nazis weren’t expected to win. So they engineered a way to win: they began by infiltrating the police and granting police powers to their allies; then Hitler brought in stormtroopers to act as auxiliary police; by the time an arsonist (who claimed to be working for the Communists in the hopes of starting an armed revolt) set fire to the Reichstag, the German parliamentary building, the people were eager for a return to law and order.

That was all it took: Hitler used the attempted “coup” as an excuse to declare martial law and seize absolute power in Germany, establishing himself as a dictator with the support of the German people.

Fast forward to the present day, and what do we have? The nation in turmoil after months of pandemic fear-mongering and regional lockdowns, a national election looming, a president with falling poll numbers, and a police state that wants to stay in power at all costs.

Note the similarities?

It’s entirely possible that Americans have finally reached a tipping point over police brutality after decades of abuse. After all, until recently, the legislatures and the courts have marched in lockstep with the police state, repeatedly rebuffing efforts to hold police accountable for official misconduct.

Then again, it’s also equally possible that the architects of the police state have every intention of manipulating this outrage for their own purposes.

It works the same in every age.

As author Jim Keith explains, “Create violence through economic pressures, the media, mind control, agent provocateurs: thesis. Counter it with totalitarian measures, more mind control, police crackdowns, surveillance, drugging of the population: antithesis. What ensues is Orwell’s vision of 1984, a society of total control: synthesis.”

Here’s what is going to happen: the police state is going to stand down and allow these protests, riots and looting to devolve into a situation where enough of the voting populace is so desperate for a return to law and order that they will gladly relinquish some of their freedoms to achieve it. And that’s how the police state will win, no matter which candidate gets elected to the White House.

Are they right?  Is what the US is experiencing now a repeat of the moment enacted by the Communist Sparticus League in pre-Nazi Germany?

Spartacus League

The Spartacus League (German: Spartakusbund) was a Marxist revolutionary movement organized in Germany during World War I. The League was named after Spartacus, leader of the largest slave rebellion of the Roman Republic. It was founded by Karl Liebknecht, [Jewess] Rosa Luxemburg, Clara Zetkin, and others. The League subsequently renamed itself the Kommunistische Partei Deutschlands (KPD), joining the Comintern in 1919. Its period of greatest activity was during the German Revolution of 1918, when it sought to incite a revolution by circulating the newspaper Spartacus Letters.

Interestingly enough, there is a branch of this organization operating in the United States today.

Sparticist League (US)

This Spartacist League named themselves after the original Spartacus League of Weimar Republic in Germany, but the current League has no formal descent from it. The League self-identifies as a "revolutionary communist" organization.

In the United States, the group is small but very vocal, and [is active] within leftist-activist coalitions and wide-scale social justice protest movements....

I found the reference to Spartacus intriguing because of it's reference to Rome.  Germany is very connected to Rome. Kaiser is the German form of Caesar (as is the word Czar).  [In Hebrew, it is pronounced Kay-sar.]  Germany was also once known as the Holy Roman Empire.

The backlash created by the fear of a communist takeover of Europe in the wake of the Russian Communist Revolution of 1917 was so strong that it led many Jews not only to vote for Hitler, but to organize to support the Nazi party.

Association of German National Jews

The Association of German National Jews (German: Verband nationaldeutscher Juden) was a German Jewish organization during the Weimar Republic and the early years of Nazi Germany that eventually came out in support of Adolf Hitler.

It was founded in 1921 by Max Naumann, who was its chairman until 1926 and again from 1933 to 1935, when the association was dissolved. The association was close to the national conservative and monarchist German National People's Party which, however, refused affiliation to the Association.

The goal of the Association was the total assimilation of Jews into the German Volksgemeinschaft, self-eradication of Jewish identity, and the expulsion from Germany of Jewish immigrants from Eastern Europe. Naumann was especially opposed to Zionists and Eastern European Jews. He considered the former a threat to Jewish integration and carriers of a "racist" ideology serving British imperial purposes. He saw the latter as racially and spiritually inferior.

The association's official organ was the monthly Der nationaldeutsche Jude edited by Max Naumann. The magazine had a circulation of 6,000 in 1927.

Among the activities of the Association was the fight against the Jewish boycott of German goods. It also issued a manifesto that stated that the Jews were being fairly treated.

In 1934 the Association made the following statement:

"We have always held the well-being of the German people and the fatherland, to which we feel inextricably linked, above our own well-being. Thus we greeted the results of January 1933, even though it has brought hardship for us personally."

A possible reason why some German Jews supported Hitler may have been that they thought that his antisemitism only was for the purpose of "stirring up the masses".

The seemingly ironic fact that a Jewish association advocated loyalty to the Nazi programme gave rise to a contemporary joke about Naumann and his followers ending their meeting by giving the Nazi salute and shouting "Down With Us!".

Despite the extreme patriotism of Naumann and his colleagues, the German government did not accept their goal of assimilation. The Association of German National Jews was declared illegal and dissolved on 18 November 1935. Naumann was arrested by the Gestapo the same day and imprisoned at the Columbia concentration camp. He was released after a few weeks, and died of cancer in May 1939.  [See also:  German Vanguard.]

If history really is repeating itself, when will the fascist backlash begin?  Honestly, I am a bit shocked that there hasn't been one yet.  I don't know what they are waiting for.  There is no way that it won't happen.  I guess it's just waiting for the right spark to set it off.  I wonder if it might be coming July 4, 2020...

Min. Louis Farrakhan Announces Major July 4 Worldwide Address

Nation of Islam (NOI) Leader The Honorable Min. Louis Farrakhan announced he will deliver a major message to the entire world on July 4, reported The Final Call. Farrakhan’s message will commemorate the Nation’s 90th anniversary.

“This message will not just be for Muslims; it is not just for Christians; it is not just for Jews, it is for every inhabitant of this planet,” Farrakhan said.

...He said he would be delivering the message in July in accordance with the 25th Surah (Chapter) of the Holy Qu’ran, which means “to discern truth from falsehood,” according to the report.

“That message if it is the Will of Allah (God), I will deliver it to the world on the 90th birthday of the Nation of Islam from somewhere in Chicago, Illinois or in Michigan; a message to the world, an announcement to the world,” Farrakhan said. “I say to you with deep humility from the 25th Surah of the Qur’an: ‘Blessed is He Who sent down the Discrimination upon His servant that he might be a warner to the nation.’”

And at the same time, there is BLACKOUT DAY scheduled by the black community for July 7th, but for which there are calls to move up to July 4th, and a call from the right-wing for a BLACK OUT WEEKEND July 4-5.

For the Jews, July 4, 2020  is Shabbat, 12 Tammuz, Parashat Balak which contains the enigmatic messianic prophecy of "Kochav Ya'aqov."  [Well worth the read, especially since it points out the submission of Moav and the downfall of Edom which are linked to these very current events!  Hamevin yavin.]

Kind of makes you wonder if the toxic antisemite "Minister" Farrakhan is a reincarnation of Bila'am since we know nothing happens by coincidence.

The month of Tammuz this year could be getting ready to really live up to its reputation.  Lest we forget, the current Israeli regime can announce annexation at anytime from July 1st and the so-called Palestinians are promising a violent response. [See also HERE.]

Whatever comes, just do not fear.  Cling to HKB"H.  It is He who runs the world.
