I love your pics! It is still hard for me, being from northern MI, to look at desert and find beauty. I have and do... and also, now, understand the importance of Tu B'Sh'vat!
Leah, Binyamin lies between Jerusalem and Jericho north of the Dead Sea, but the Judean Desert runs down south between Arad and the Dead Sea, so I'm sure it's very similar.
