It's Time Once Again - to Expel Yishmael

The Stone Edition Chumash Commentary:

Ishmael is expelled:  In the ninth of Abraham's Ten Trials, God commanded him to banish Ishmael, because he was a menace to the spiritual health - and perhaps the very life - of Isaac.  To signify Ishmael's gross nature, the Torah describes him as the son of Hagar, the Egyptian.  Despite her many years in the home of Abraham and Sarah, Hagar remained an Egyptian princess, and Ishmael gravitated to her influence rather than Abraham's.  That Abraham found it repugnant to send Ishmael away is clear from the narrative, but he was strong enough to do whatever he was commanded.  As the Patriarch of Israel, his primary responsibility was to subordinate his feelings of love to the dictates of the future.

If only the leaders of the Jewish people today would follow Avraham Avinu's example!!

  2. There is always something a simple Jew can do.
    1. Daven for Hashem to expel them.
    2. Stop employing them and giving them parnasa.
    3. The more frum Jews there are in Israel the stronger our spiritual hold on the land, and of course political. Obviously we are not there yet. It's easy to blame politicians etc, but they are the symptom. If we had the critical mass of Torah and mitzvot in EY, the politics would take care of itself.
    4. Influence the consciousness of at least one other person. Israelis have been brainwashed from birth that we have to divide the land for peace.
I had this conversation with someone. The only reason we are in Israel is cos Hashem gave us the land, as stated in the Torah. The same Torah sets out the lands given to YIshmael, Bereishit 25:18, "They dwelt from Havilah to Shur, which is before Egypt, as you go toward Assyria (Asshur); over against all his brethren he dwelt."
They were given their own, copious lands and they are not supposed to be here at all.
What about ger toshav? That is for individuals in certain conditions, not for people who claim to be a nation with a claim to our land, and who want to kill us. She was convinced.

Bottom line, in every situation, an individual Jew can take responsibility, and show leadership in their own life. The feelilng of 'I'm just one person, what difference does it make if I vote or not, make aliya or not, buy from an Arab or not, etc, etc' is hte yetser hara.

The Rambam says a person is supposed to consider that the entire world is hanging in the balance, and the next actioin that they take will tip it.

We are supposed to learn from every person. Every one of the fly by voters, made a huge effort to come to Israel for their one vote. They got it. It's not about agreeing with the concept of non resident voters, or who they voted for. The point is each one of them took their one single vote extremely seriously and spared no expense or effort to exercise it. We should also take our own actions that seriously.

  3. One of the signs of Moshiach coming, Be'D, is the nations becoming ungovernable. They will be clamouring for Moshiach to rule over them.
The title of a recent French video, literally, 'Have we become ungovernable'.
France is in chaos, not just riots in the streets, and pillaging shops, the young scholars are breaking into people's homes. The thin blue line has been stretched beyond its limits. It's literally, 'no one is coming to save you'.

It's all two sides of the same coin. They are becoming ungovernable, Jews need to leave, French Jews are in disarray, the head fo the Shabak was in France very recently, who knows, emergency aliya, and or Israeli security protecting the Jews, Jews come home, albeit not in ideal circumstances, we reach a tipping point of zechuyot in EY, and the Land will spit out Yishmael and everyone who is not supposed to be here.

Once there is blood on the streets as in Europe, literally, it might not be the best time to liquidate your property. Smart Jews everywhere will take note and take action whilst they can. Not be relieved that it's over there and not by me.

The tragedy for French Jews is that this has been going on for over twenty years, and only a small percentage took action. Now it can't be ignored any longer.
