Another Sign We Are in a Transition Period Into Messianic Times

26 Sivan 5780
And it shall be at the end of the days,...the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of man shall be humbled, and the Lord alone shall be exalted on that day. And the idols shall completely pass away. (Yeshayahu 2.2, 17-18)
Like everything about life in This World (Olam HaZeh), there is a predetermined destination.  Our choices only dictate whether we will arrive at it by the short, peaceful route through submission to the Will of our Creator, or by the long, hard road,  a detour taken by those who rebel against the authority of HKB"H.

A prime example of this is illustrated by the journey of Bnei Yisrael from Egypt to Eretz Cana'an.  It should have taken eleven days.  Instead, it was forty years.

The whole world is on the Road to Redemption-in-its-Time - the longest, hardest road there is - but rest assured that the destination is still glorious, regardless of how we get there.

The inhabitants of Earth should be tearing down all the statues ("You shall not make for yourselves any graven image.") out of love for HKB"H and in obedience to His commandments.  Instead, they are doing it out of the attitude of rebellion that rules their hearts in these turbulent times.

Either way, this is a start towards a world where no "graven images" at all are tolerated, as per the expressed desire of our Creator.
Jews don't need statues to remember our history

...SO HOW is it we remember as a people, scattered over dozens of countries worldwide, our history – and the goodies and the baddies? Our community memory is an oral memory; we are not called the People of the Book for nothing. We write things down and discuss them. We made sure they were handed down from generation to generation....
Of course, this is happening mainly in the United States - the country that makes the biggest show of its Biblical heritage.  I found this recent image of members of Congress "taking a knee" in the presence of idols in the US Capitol to be particularly thought-provoking.

  1. They are not bowing down to the statues, but to BLM and their rotten communist ideology, which is much worse.

  2. When someone knows the true majestry and greatness of haShem he can never bow to anything else.

I wouldn't be suprised if something happens to the new libertas aka statue of liberty. HaShem HATES idols.

  3. Devash,
I am putting this comment here since the original article was closed for further comment. There you said, "I just have to add one more thing that has been on my mind all day...

When we pray 3x/day ["...raise the banner to gather our exiles and gather us together from the four corners of the earth. Blessed are You, Hashem, Who gathers in the dispersed of His people Israel."] are we talking about a purely "spiritual" aliyah or physical aliyah? And how has "aliyah" been understood for thousands of years? Now, tell me which one is the "REAL" one. In actuality the two go hand-in-hand.

And when we pray during Birkat HaMazon ["We thank You, Hashem our God, because You have given to our forefathers as a heritage a desirable, good and spacious land,... As it is written, 'And you shall eat and you shall be satisfied, and you shall bless Hashem your God, for the good land which He gave you....'"] do we really mean it??? And if we don't??? What does that make us???"

It reminded me of when we left NY over 10 years ago, after having been converted 11 yrs. earlier, that a big Rabbi asked me, "What do you see as the biggest problem in Judaism? And be succinct..." My reply, "...davening."

I left it at that and then he said, "OK, expound!!" My reply, "it matters not to me how quickly one says the prayers or how loud or etc., etc., etc. But if we were davening with proper kavvanah all our problems would be solved. As I see it, all our problems are answered in the davening itself. We need to put 'feet to our prayers.'"

Until when will we not heed the words of Yeshayahu, "And the Lord said: 'Because this people has come near; with their mouth and with their lips they honor Me, but their heart they draw far away from Me, and their fear of Me has become a command of people, which has been taught.'" (29:13)

I would highly recommend everyone reading: EIM HABANIM SEMEICHAH by HaRav Yisachar Shomo Teichtal. Please fellow Jews, COME HOME!!!
