In the Eye of the Storm

12 Iyyar 5780
Day 27 of the Omer

Don't let the present calm fool you.  We are in the eye of the hurricane, having passed through one side of the storm and waiting for the other side to hit full force.  Be ready for it. Brace yourselves for it.
~~~
And may I take this opportunity to publicly thank HKB"H from the depths of my heart for sparing everyone I know from the dreaded disease and especially that there were no further fatalities over the past 24 hrs from it.
~ THANK YOU, HASHEM! ~
  1. Agreed totally. Eighty years ago (1940-2020) in these months May, 1940 and following Sir Winston Churchill had to lead Britain and the Free World in dealing with the same problem on the Eve (at the beginning) of World War Two as we do on the Eve (at the beginning) of World War Three.     "We Shall Fight on the Beaches" is a common title given to a speech delivered by Winston Churchill to the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom on 4 June 1940. This was the second of three major speeches given around the period of the Battle of France; the others are the "Blood, toil, tears, and sweat" speech of 13 May and the "This was their finest hour" speech of 18 June. Events developed dramatically over the five-week period, and although broadly similar in themes, each speech addressed a different military and diplomatic context.
    In this speech, Churchill had to describe a great military disaster, and warn of a possible invasion attempt by the Nazis, without casting doubt on eventual victory. He also had to prepare his domestic audience for France's falling out of the war without in any way releasing France to do so, and wished to reiterate a policy and an aim unchanged – despite the intervening events – from his speech of 13 May, in which he had declared the goal of "victory, however long and hard the road may be".
  3. President Trumpty Dumpty is gearing up for a little war or two or three. Maybe a little WW3 on the side. A few MOABs to get everybody warmed up. Maybe China will invade Taiwan to get the disco death dance started.
    The war drums that "China caused the virus" (which they did with help from the WHO aka UN aka Lucis trust) are getting louder and louder. Communists and Satanists (is this even different?) conspiring to rule the world.
    Meanwhile the 5G towers just keep going up never mind the health risks while we "shelter in place" aka "imprison in place."
    Can't make this up.
