Turkey's War and Geulah

6 Adar 5780

While the world is obsessed with "corona" and distracted by disappearing face masks and falling stocks, Turkey has gone to war with Syria and has called on its NATO allies for help.
Two Syrian Jets Shot Down By Turkey Near Idlib As War Escalates

The dangerous situation and open state of war between Turkey and Syria, and increasingly by extension with Russia backing its ally Damascus, has continued to escalate dramatically in the last 24 hours. Hours after Syrian national forces brought down yet another Turkish drone operating over Idlib province, and following last Thursday's major air attack which killed 33 Turkish troops, two Syrian Air Force jets have been shot down reportedly by Turkey's military.

Turkey Asks NATO To Join Its War Against Syria And Russia

The spokesperson for the Islamist party of Turkey’s President Tayyip Erdogan has called upon all of NATO to go to war against Syria for Syria’s having killed dozens of Turkey’s troops in order for Syria to defeat Turkey’s invasion and military occupation of Syria’s Idlib Province, which borders on Turkey. Going to war against Syria would mean going to war also against Russia, which is in Syria to protect Syria’s sovereignty over its own territory. If the United States accepts that Turkish proposal, then World War III will consequently result.
Assad has been propped up by Russia and Iran for nine years now.  He has an expiration date known to Hashem...

"...And this is the sign for you: when you see that the eastern Nero in Damascus has fallen, and the kingdom of the Children of the East has fallen, then will salvation sprout up for Israel, and Messiah ben David will come...."  (Nistarot R. Shim'on ben Yochai, BhM 3:82)

Could the "kingdom of the Children of the East" be China?  If so, can Assad's fall be far behind China's current "fall" due to the coronavirus?  Will Turkey be the nation that precipitates it?

  2. I am wondering if this CV fear is the turmoil that the ancient prophecy was referring to...

Yalkhut Shimoni of early Talmudic time:

    “Rabbi Yitzchak said:

In the year the King Moshiach will be revealed, the kings of all the nations of the world will struggle with each other: the king of Persia (Iran) will provoke the Arabian king; the Arabian king will go to Aram [Edom] (the West -now understood to be America/Europe) for advice. And the King of Persia goes back and destroys the entire world. All the nations of the world will be in turmoil and terror; they will fall on their faces, seized by pains like the pangs of childbirth. Israel will also be in turmoil and terror, saying, "where shall we come and where shall we go, where shall we come and where shall we go?"

"[G-d] will say to them, "My children, do not be afraid, all that I have done I have done only for your sake. Why are you afraid? Do not fear, the time for your Redemption has arrived."

If that is the case - can this event be pinned to the King of Persia? Specifically "going back?"

I have seen it mentioned that Persia is Paras and PARAS can also stand for Persia Russia and Sin - Iran-Russia-China -- who we know are all allied. The question becomes who is this "King"? Is that the leader of Iran or of the Russia/Iran/China contingency? Following the Solemeni hit and the flare up of tensions Iran "went back" and then lo-and-behold this CV chaos hits and is making a run for the whole world. People are literally falling on their faces and everyone is asking "where shall we go?" to escape this.

    1. THAT is a VERY interesting take. You could be right. Like what I wrote in the post... Two separate events, but happening at the same time. Like two door locks, first this one, then this one and voila!

Paras and Saudi Arabia confrontation with US on the side of SA, then the virus.

Syria's Assad under attack and then the kingdom of the Children of the East falls.

And in both cases, the corresponding events, the time between the first and second "locks" opening takes years. BUT! The second and concluding lock is the same event!

      Could be. :-)

    2. My recent studies in other texts seemed to indicate that these two events could be related.

Rabbi Moshe Chaim Luzatto describes in "Secrets of the Redemption" (מאמר הגאולה) a period at the end of days that is "a time of distress for Jacob". Due to other details in the text it is clear this does not refer to the Holocaust, but to an event after which Geula Shlayma will arrive immediately, without any delay.

In reference to this period he refers to Jeremiah 30.

The beginning of Jeremiah 30 has these words "Ask now, and see whether a man travails with a child? Why then do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned to paleness? Alas for this day is great, so that none is like it: and it is a time of trouble for Ya'aqov; but he shall be saved out of it..."

This sounds very similar to Malkut Shimoni:
"All the nations of the world will be in turmoil and terror; they will fall on their faces, seized by pains like the pangs of childbirth. Israel will also be in turmoil and terror, saying, "where shall we come and where shall we go, where shall we come and where shall we go?"

It is very interesting to read the rest of Jeremiah 30, I recommend taking a look.

      Also found there:

"For I am with thee, says the Lord, to save thee: for I will make a full end of the nations where I have scattered thee, yet will I not make a full end of thee: but I will correct thee in due measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished.

For thus says the Lord, thy bruise is incurable, and thy wound is grievous. There is none to take up thy case, to bind up thy wound: thou hast no healing medicines. All thy lovers have forgotten thee; they seek thee not; for I have wounded thee with the wound of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one, for the multitude of thy iniquity; thy sins were increased. Why criest thou for thy hurt, that thy sorrow is incurable? for the multitude of thy iniquity, because thy sins were increased, I have done these things to thee. Therefore all they that devour thee shall be devoured; and all thy adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; and they that spoil thee shall be a spoil, and all that plunder thee will I give for a prey. For I will restore health to thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, says the Lord; because they called thee an outcast, saying, this is Ziyyon, for whom no one cares."

There is also mention in the book of Rav Moshe Chaim Luzatto words that refer to the death of Ministers of other nations when he states: " 'And, the tall ones are brought down', ie, those are the idol worshipping nations themselves, who were tall and domineering. We find that the body of these ministers will perish, and they will perish with the fall of their limbs...perishing is literal, understand this well."

    3. Thank you concerned. A better translation:

For I am with you, says the Lord, to save you, for I will make an end of all the nations where I dispersed you, but of you I will not make an end, but I will chasten you in measure, and I will not completely destroy you.
For so said the Lord: Your injury is painful, your wound grievous.
No one deems your wound to be healed, you have no healing medicines.
All your lovers have forgotten you, they do not seek you, for I have smitten you with the wound of an enemy, cruel chastisement, for the greatness of your iniquity; your sins are many.
Why do you cry about your injury [that] your pain is severe? For the magnitude of your iniquity, [since] your sins are many, I have done these to you.
Therefore, all who devour you shall be devoured, and all your adversaries, yea all of them, shall go into captivity, and those who plunder you shall be plunder, and all who prey upon you I will give for prey.
For I will bring healing to you, and of your wounds I will heal you, says the Lord, for they called you an outcast, that is Zion whom no one seeks out.

And yes, it is well worth reading the entire chapter.
