"Egypt" Loses Its Power Over Israel on the 15th of Nissan

DIVIDING JERUSALEM?!!

24 Adar 5780

How many hidden agendas will be able to be carried out under cover of this viral national emergency.  (Isn't it odd how much we use the word "viral" in connection with the internet and social media and now "social-distancing" has gone viral due to coronavirus!  Weird.)

Is this a prelude to something more sinister?  I have family in "East" Jerusalem and I live "East" of Jerusalem.  What does this mean for us if we need to get to "West" Jerusalem.  If we are all locked down, I guess it's not relevant - for now.

Netanyahu prepared to sign Health Ministry guidelines into legal orders
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Thursday that he is prepared to sign the guidelines initiated the other day into "orders," so that whoever breaks them would be fined, according to a report by Channel 12.
The relevant ministries are working on drafting the orders, the news channel reported. If it is ready early enough Thursday, the prime minister will announce it tonight.

Israel starts surveilling virus carriers...
The Health Ministry announced Wednesday it has begun using mass surveillance tools to retrace the movements of coronavirus carriers and has already informed 400 people in contact with them that they must enter quarantine.
The electronic tracking program, which is being conducted by the Shin Bet security service for the ministry, has faced harsh criticism, including by members of the government, and its legality is currently being challenged in the High Court of Justice.
And here is something else I find interesting - a good example of the difference between a humble Jew and the most powerful Goy in the world...

The First Coronavirus Victim in Israel Recovers, Screams Prayer to God

Things are happening so fast, I can't keep up, but I'll end this post with a quote from Netanyahu's press conference from a few minutes ago in regard to forming a unity government with Blue and White: "Together we will redeem (מוֹשִׁיעַ) the people and the country."

  1. OMG. I'm a law-abiding citizen who takes the coronavirus seriously and follow all reasonable instructions to lessen its impact.

That said, I have some serious questions about this new "directive": Please excuse the caps- I am not shouting, I am distinguishing what is my own response to each directive.

"The directive of the Ministry of Health and all related professionals (doctors, etc.) is not to leave home, except for a vital need. Therefore, we call on the public:

    A. Be very careful about the Ministry of Health's guidelines regarding public congregations. The same is true of prayers. Private Minyanim are not allowed in homes. There is a real danger. IF PEOPLE CAN GO TO SUPERMARKETS AND STAND 2 METERS AWAY FROM EACH OTHER, WHY CAN'T 10 MEN STAND 2 METERS AWAY FROM EACH OTHER TO PRAY? ESPECIALLY IF THE MINYAN IS OUTSIDE (AND NOT IN A CLOSED BUILDING) LIKE A LOT OF JEWS HAVE BEEN DOING?

    B. We urge the public to use online deliveries as much as possible to avoid unnecessary entry into supermarkets. Buying Challah for Shabbat also does not justify going into danger! Please avoid crowding and shopping in the supermarkets as much as possible. WHY DO THEY SPECIFICALLY MENTION SHABBAT? WHY DON'T THEY SAY, "BUYING BREAD DOES NOT JUSTIFY GOING INTO DANGER"?

    C. Because the delivery services are overloaded, we ask teenagers to volunteer to help with the deliveries to enable them to handle the load. Along with the youth, there will be a physician escort who will take care of giving them safety guidelines. We will send a further update. WHY ARE THEY CONSCRIPTING OUR YOUTH? DON'T THESE YOUTH GO BACK TO THEIR FAMILIES EVERYDAY AFTER EXPOSURE TO THE VIRUS?

    D. Keeping Cell Phones turned on on Shabbat: Because the Ministry of Health is investigating and notifying people who are close to Corona patients that they should be in immediate quarantine, and that these messages may come on Shabbat - everyone is asked to keep their cell phones turned on. If there is a call on Shabbat and there is doubt whether it is on behalf of the Ministry of Health. – one is required to answer the phone." ON SHABBAT EVERYONE IS ALREADY IN IMMEDIATE QUARANTINE BECAUSE NOBODY CAN LEAVE HOME!! YOUTH WITH A "HETER" TO HAVE CELL PHONES ON WILL BE CONSTANTLY LOOKING TO ANSWER MESSAGES EVERY TIME IT DINGS- THINKING IT MAY BE THE GOVERNMENT TELLING ME I'VE BEEN EXPOSED".

This reasonable, law-abiding, middle-aged citizen would like to have these questions answered. I am open to being wrong, to hearing reasonable explanations as to why this must be at this point. My questions are rational and important.

    1. Excellent questions and a lot of food for thought. Thank you for expressing what I'm sure many of us were thinking.

  2. I really believe that they are using this virus to get people (especially youth) to get used to having phones on on shabbat. tens of thousands of religious people don;t even have phones! who will give them this "life-saving" information that they have been exposed? THIS WHOLE THING IS A HUGE POWER GRAB AND ANTI-TORAH. There is coming a time where Hashem will test us and say, "who is for Torah? who is for Me?" and we will have to earn that privilege. And I have a feeling it is not going to be easy. May Hashem give us all strength.

  3. Zechariah 14:1-5 re DIVIDING THE HOLY CITY OF GOD

1 Behold, a day of the LORD cometh, when thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. 2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and HALF OF THE CITY shall go forth into captivity, but the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. 3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when He fighteth in the day of battle. 4 And His feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleft in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, so that there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. 5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azel; yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah; and the LORD my God shall come, and all the holy ones [angels/Bnai Elohim] with Thee".

  4. All negative nevuas can be cancelled with tefila etc.
No need for this to happen.

    1. Amen! Ken yehi ratzon! We are still in the month of Adar, naafochu. At any time, but especially in this auspicious month, Hashem can turn around all problems and challenges, whether personal, communal or global.

Be"D this year on Pesach we will all be bringing Korban Pesach in Beit HaMikdash besimcha gedola (with great joy).

I hope that everyone reading this strengthens themselves in emuna faith) in Hashem, expands their consciousness (the "meitsarim" of Mitrayim (restrictions of Egypt) are that we cannot even conceive of our salvation and remain stuck, mentally and conceptually within our perceived limitations), and begs Hashem for Moshiach Now with mercy.

  6. Lea, that is not a bad nevuah. Praised be H'! This will happen!
It is G-D's world and woe unto man if he thinks he has more mercy and kinder than our Creator. Saul lost his kingdom because he thought to be more merciful than H'. Be merciful to the kind but not to the cruel!

  7. Agree with the commenter Deb. There seems to be a definite push for this one world religion and the ptb's want to undo Torah and Judaism and internatiionalize Yerushalayim, which will never happen. This is a war against G-D. These are frightening times on so many levels. May H' have rachamim on His children, Israel, and send us Moshiach Tzdkeinu in a blink of an eye. Trust only in Hashem. Ain Od Milvado!
