Like nearly everything else to do with President Donald J. Trump, including the sham of "moving" the American Embassy to Jerusalem, the much-hyped new American sanctions on Iran is all a big show.
WHY IS THE U.S. LETTING SO MANY COUNTRIES GET IRAN SANCTIONS WAIVERS?
The only thing "real" about the Trump presidency is its goal of clinching "The Deal of the Century." To that aim, Jason Greenblatt is back in Israel. I saw a report yesterday that he and US Ambassador to Israel Friedman went to pray at the Western Wall - no doubt seeking Divine sanction for their evil scheme. Either that or, in keeping with most things Trumpian, it was about the optics.
