August 2, 2018 - Jerusalem

Kol hakavod to the residents of Ashdod!

Note that in the week prior to the Pride Grande Finale in Jerusalem, on the night of July 27, 2018, 16 Menachem Av, there will be a complete lunar eclipse over the Middle East.

Blood Moon 2018: Longest Total Lunar Eclipse of Century Occurs July 27
The total phase of the "blood moon" eclipse of July 27 will last 1 hour and 43 minutes, during which Earth's natural satellite will turn a spectacular red or ruddy-brown color. From start to finish, the entire celestial event will last nearly 4 hours.
The eclipse won't be visible to viewers in North America, except via webcasts. But observers in much of Africa, the Middle East, southern Asia and the Indian Ocean region will get an eyeful, given cooperative weather,....
July's total lunar eclipse occurs on the same day the planet Mars reaches its opposition, when it will shine at its best in the night sky. This month, Mars will be at its closest to Earth since 2003. After opposition, when Mars will be brightest, it will reach that closest point on July 31.
Mars represents war and red is the color of blood. Red moon - red planet. [See here and here.]

In Biblical language, Heaven and Earth have, in the past, been called as witnesses. Given the earthquakes (66 since July 1st) and this impending heavenly display, we'd better figure out real fast how we are going to make the required teshuvah for allowing this 'pride' cancer to spread all over the country without any meaningful protest.

  1. The reason that there are no major protests is because of the Secular High Court giving gays "rights" and the police enforcing those "rights" over the years (just like the Waqf right to ban Jewish prayer on the Temple Mount). The question is "When will Hashem's patients run out?". People have no "Discretion" and modesty these days. They can do "anything they want". You don't want to look at the real news after eating. Pure Evil is in the open and the children are not protected. Is the only option to listen to the Gedolim and hide our families and ourselves from the Pure Evil in this world? The land of Eretz Israel is Kodesh - Holy. Eretz Israel is not like any other country in the world.

    1. Hashem does not care what the civil authorities permit. We have to follow the Torah no matter where it leads.

Remember when we returned from Bavel with the permission of King Koresh to rebuild the Temple and then the king issued an order to stop the work?

For eighteen years, we did not continue the work of rebuilding the Holy Temple, even after there was a new king. We were a vassal state of the Babylonian Empire and surrounded by internal enemies who worked day and night to sabotage us, but according to the prophet Haggai, Hashem held us responsible.

      See here.

He brought punishment via the land until "Zerubbabel the son of Shaltiel, and Joshua the son of Jehozadak the High Priest, and all the remnant of the people heeded the command of the Lord their God and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the Lord their God had sent him, and the people feared the Lord."

  2. Does anyone know a precedent from Gemara or Tanakh that gives us a clue how to go about opposing these public expressions of impurity? Should we try to organize a מצעד תורה וטהרה - a Torah and Purity Parade - to counter the Pride and Tolerance Parade? Mida k'neged midah? Or something else?

Do you ever wonder why the Arabs don't protest it? I can tell you why. They understand that we are shooting ourselves in our own foot this way, that this is like the incident of Moav and Midyan we have been reading about these last two weeks. They understand on some level that Hashem will become very angry because of the immorality and we will begin to die, leaving everything open for them.

Something else we have been learning from these most recent parshiot is the terrible sin of standing by and doing nothing. Even Moshe and the elders standing by and crying over the situation did not stop the plague. It did not stop until Pinchas ACTED.

The problem is that without the guidance of Torah leadership, we are left not knowing exactly what action is required of us.

  3. A single person can stop the current plague, a Pinchas is needed to emerge urgently. Else, Yisrael is doomed in a couple of weeks.
You have reached the terminus point Yisrael! Fire is engulfing the nation from 6 directions, N, S, W, E, up, and down.
    Pride Parades? You fools!

  4. Pinchas is the only antidote. But we are prevented from taking Zealotry into our own hands. Rabbi Mizrachi on Earthquakes
This could mean we might lose a Gadol as a korban? As Moshe Rabbeinu had the Tribal Rabbis executed after the incident of the Moabite Princesses. 24000, the same number which appears twice more in our history (as reincarnations until finally they did complete teshuva)
I would be willing to stand like those in Ashdod with a placard in an anti-demonstration, if someone could get us signs.

  6. Had an average person 20 or 30 years ago, when there was still some decency in the world, been shown a vision of this insanity they would have been horrified. Now they all go along with it like sheep. In the UK they are trying to force this kind of abomination into the education system, posing a serious threat to the Torah schools. There's only one way to describe what's going on, a direct challenge to Hashem; when He responds it will be too late for them.

  7. I already posted on this and even asked YY if he had any info from his sources as to this anomaly. Rare Event in Solar System No one so far seemed to think this unusual, except for me. It happened 6 times in last 120 years. However, this year the alignment falls between Tisha B’Av and Rosh Hashanah. So what do we make of this, together with everything else?
