'Peace Plan' Still In Play

With all that is going on with Syria, N Korea, Iran, Russia and China, this is what the Trump administration is focused on?

Israeli official says Israel should welcome Trump peace plan
Deputy minister for diplomacy in the PMO says Israel should accept Trump's peace plan 'with an open mind, if not open arms,' stressing there never was a better ally to Israel in the White House.

A top Israel official said Monday that his government has never had a more favorable ally in the White House than Donald Trump and therefore it should welcome his administration's forthcoming peace plan regardless of its content.

Michael Oren, the deputy minister for diplomacy in the prime minister's office, said the US president's much-anticipated plan will undoubtedly require Israeli concessions, but that Israel would be foolish to reject it.

"I have never known a team to be more favorably disposed to us," Oren, a former Israeli ambassador to Washington, told foreign journalists. "My own feeling is to strongly recommend that the Israeli government accept this plan with an open mind, if not open arms, that we engage with it energetically and that we certainly don't reject it out of hand."

  1. The ONLY Peace Plan we will accept is that of THE GOD OF ISRAEL. The World will SUBMIT to and OBEY Their Creator. And they will do it NOW

  3. Any and every Israeli Prime Minister who has accepted a "peace plan" has had their lives decimated-Begin, Rabin, Olmert Sharon. Ironically, even a leftest like Peres who never had the oportunity to apply his policies lived to old age with honor.
It is impossible to understand this in a normatve way. As they say in Israel if you don't believe in the miracles you're not a realist.
I don't fear for Israel. She is Hashem's baby. But our leaders and friends need to be careful not to defy the great prophecies.

  4. Had their lives decimated? Apart from Rabin, the others just died, of illness or old age ailments. An Israeli president's life would hardly be without great trial and trauma, surely?

    1. After withdrawal from Sinai in a peace agreement with Sadat (who was assasinated soon after) Begin fell into the failure of the first Lebanon War. His beloved wife died. Begin, broken, resigned from office and shuttered himself away never appearng in public again for many years. Rabin assasinated. Olmert imprisoned and disgraced. Sharon struck down by a cerebral hemmorage right after the Gush Katif fiasco.
Interestingly, Yitzchak Shamir who never signed any "peace deals" lived in retirement to ripe old age.
Netanyahu of course was voted out of office after the Hevron agreement. Looks like he's been given a second chance, yet there are some ominous Torah code pages on this subject.
Don't get me wrong I am a Netanyahu admirer who believes he has led Israel during incredibly difficult times and Trump has so far been a friend.
Yet if they succumb to the temptations of glory and violate Hashem's Covenant with the Land of Israel I don't envy them.

    2. Amen to Lowell's comment.
To Anon @12:02 pm, thinking that the 'vulture' got away with it all; but there is judgment Above. Most thought of him as Armelus. He was leading from behind because he had more clout and power than all of the pm's. (just a little history).
Everything is controlled from Above, the good and the bad) and do believe that Netanyahu is kept in power because he is the one most likely to be the forerunner to Moshiach Ben Dovid.
