"Remember, Remember the 4th of November"

12 Marcheshvan 5778

According to my wall calendar, today is Yom Hazikaron l'Yitzchak Rabin - a day to remember a Prime Minister who became a "sacrifice for peace" on November 4, 1995. But, that's not what this phrase refers to -"Remember, remember the 4th of November."

Actually, that is a misquote. The correct version is "Remember, remember the 5th of November." It comes from a rhyme that is chanted on Guy Fawkes Day in England. Guy Fawkes was part of a conspiracy to assassinate King James I and blow up Parliament on that day in 1605 in a bid to restore a Catholic to the throne. He and his co-conspirators did not recognize the legitimacy of the ruling regime.

This is alluded to in the futuristic movie "V for Vendetta."

The film is set in an alternative future where a neo-fascist regime has subjugated the United Kingdom. ...V for Vendetta has been seen by many political groups as an allegory of oppression by government; libertarians and anarchists have used it to promote their beliefs. David Lloyd stated: "The Guy Fawkes mask has now become a common brand and a convenient placard to use in protest against tyranny....
This plays right into Antifa's vision of itself as a protest movement against fascism and a liberation movement from what they perceive to be an illegal regime. Antifa has declared a "Day of Rage" for November the 4th.

On top of that, the US government is planning to run an EMP drill between November 4th and November 6th.
DoD Plans Solar-Storm-Based National Blackout Drill During Antifa Protests In November
...US Department of Defense (DOD) will simulate a “communications interoperability” training exercise across the United States on November 04-06. The announcement released on October 24 has not been widely distributed to the media, because the drill is simulating a total grid collapse and could spark public fear.
This drill is predicated upon an EMP resulting from a solar coronal mass ejection (CME) and not an atmospherically-detonated nuke from North Korea or Iran.

Just last week we read about how God destroyed the world with water and there is a tradition that in the future it will be destroyed by fire. And this Shabbat, which just happens to be the 4th of November, we read about some cities which, 4000 years later, still represent in global consciousness the epitome of wickedness - Sodom and Gomorrah - and how they were destroyed by fire and brimstone that rained from Heaven.

This drill covers the time period between the 15th of Cheshvan, the full moon, and the 17th, which is the anniversary of the global destruction we know simply as the Mabul - the Great Flood.

What will be? What will be? Heads up!

  1. Its ironic how ANTIFA views itself as a movement against oppression, when in reality, theyre being used to push the Lefts ideology which is clearly about control. Same goes for every social or political issue the left puts in everyone's faces. Its never about the actual issue, but rather, they use the issue as a cover to slowly push an underlying agenda.

    1. There is good and bad on BOTH sides of the political divide. Torah Jews find the balance in the middle.

    1. And you must be ignorant. Antifa has its origins in communism. Their flag is literally the Communist paramilitary flag from the 1920s and 1930s. Are you really saying there is anything good about Antifa?

As far as the right, sure, "good and bad." I live in my land, and wish all chutznik Jews would stop deluding themselves, but my sympathies for the goyim in chu"l, such as they exist, lie with the nationalist right, who support Israel's right to exist, and unlike the Hayovel Christians (and others like them) who seek to blur the line between gentile and Jew, want to have nothing to do with us and are interested in the same separation from them that we seek.

    2. No, Shimshon, but my remark was rude and I apologize for it. Americans have been brainwashed into this right/left matrix and have been convinced that they have to choose one or the other. Like George W's "You are either with us or with the terrorists."

Uh, how about we don't want either Eisav OR Yishmael!

When I said there was both good and bad on both sides, I was referring to the right and left in general - not a specific faction.

The left are communists and socialists, but the alt-right are Nazis!

When I was growing up, we were Democrats because the perception was that the Democrats stuck up for the poor and disenfranchised, for those who's voice was too soft to be heard. Democrats were people who organized labor unions (in fact, they were more likely communists) and fought greedy business owners on behalf of the workers and their rights. They helped pass much-needed laws that benefit everyone today.

Republicans - the right - represented the interests of the rich. The legislation they passed favored business interests.

In the eighties, something changed and shifted and the two major parties began to be defined by their moral base. Suddenly, if you were against abortion on demand and same-sex marriage, you could no longer be a Democrat. You had to align with the Republicans. Starting with Jerry Fallwell's Moral Majority, you could not be a good moral human being and belong to the Democratic party.

I don't understand why this happened. I haven't spent a lot of time thinking about it and I don't plan to start any time soon, if ever, but there is no doubt that some greater agenda is at play here.

Regardless, people have got to stop being so easily manipulated and set at each others' throats.

The Jews have no home on either side of this culture war and the sooner they understand this and remove themselves from the debate, the better.

So, your "sympathies lie with the nationalist right". Yes, and there actually were Jews in Germany who voted for Hitler, y"sh.

FYI, Trump is not the threat. Pence IS. You better hope with all your might that Trump is not removed in favor of Mike Pence.

    3. The problem with Nazism wasn't that it was nationalist. It was supremacist. It sought to dominate, not recognize the legitimacy of its neighbors.

There are people who call themselves alt-right but who are atheist or pagan, pro-abortion, and globalist (ie support the EU as opposed to the European nations). None of those can reasonably be considered right or even alt-right positions.

I read through that interesting link on AGNI. How interesting. But they were assimilationist!

"The goal of the Association was the total assimilation of Jews into the German Volksgemeinschaft, self eradication of Jewish identity, and the expulsion from Germany of the Jewish immigrants from Eastern Europe."

And: "We have always held the well-being of the German people and the fatherland, to which we feel inextricably linked, above our own well-being. Thus we greeted the results of January, 1933, even though it has brought hardship for us personally."

"We" - Jews. But they didn't ask the Germans, who never agreed with the sentiment.

Their mistake was believing that one can switch one's ethnicity by choice and that the host will accept it. The German and other European nations never accepted that idea, no matter how much the Jews pushed it. Even though we Jews are more accepting (just by having an actual path to becoming part of the Jewish nation), we still have various restrictions to who could convert and marry into the nation, even if such restrictions are no longer in practice or enforced. The Geulah even shuts the door on conversion, as was the case after Purim.

A non-German though (to pick one example) can NEVER become German, regardless of citizenship or time. The Germans simply don't recognize such. In Europe, even people originally from ONE TOWN OVER are considered strangers to the residents of their new home, even decades later.

In any case, today, the people on the alt-right I am familiar with are hardly Nazis. They respect and recognize Israel and only want for themselves what Israel has. Borders, strict immigration controls, and so forth. They tend to have no problem at all with Israel and Israeli Jews. They deeply resent chutznik Jews and their bald hypocrisy on these matters, whatever their political leanings. Ben Shapiro is one particularly galling example. He in particular is an embarrassment, given how he so openly identifies as an Orthodox Jew.
