The Holidays May Be Over, But the Danger Is Not

Russia has imposed a no-fly zone ovewr Syria and including Northern Israel

Russia’s deputy chief of staff, Gen. Nikolay Bogdanovsky, accompanied by a large military delegation, arrives in Israel for a two-day visit on Tuesday, Oct. 6, to discuss increased coordination between the two militaries. However, Moscow seems to be sending Jerusalem an altogether different message: Friday, Oct. 2, the Russian Defense Ministry announced the surprise deployment of Navy cruiser, the Moskva, armed with 64 advanced anti-aircraft missiles S-300 ship-to-air missiles opposite the Syrian coastal town of Latakia.

DEBKAfile’s military sources point out that Russia, without saying so publicly, has thus created an effective no-fly zone over most of Syria, most of northern Israel, including the Golan, as well as southern Turkey, for US aircraft based there for air strikes in Syria; Cyprus, the site of British air force bases; and Jordan.

...The presence of the wide-ranging S-300s means that the Turkish, British, Israeli and Jordanian air forces will need to coordinate their aerial operations in Syrian or Lebanese airspace with Russia, or face the risk of their planes being shot down.

IN ISRAEL

PROPAGANDA

"But the Palestinians do not understand the small but strident minority of Jews who claim the right to worship at the Al-Aqsa site, known to them as Temple Mount and the most revered spot in Judaism. (i.e. if we get rid of this small group of arab extremists we can have peace)

And the Jews do not grasp that it is just a small minority of radicalised Muslims who are sowing terror with knife attacks in the Old City, such as Saturday's killing of a rabbi and an off-duty soldier and the wounding of the rabbi's wife and their two-year-old child. (i.e. if we get rid of this small group of Jewish extremists we can have peace)

  1. So, GogUMagog did not climax over Sukkot, but it seems to have begun over Sukkot in a big way. One of the parties, Obama, is on the Golf Course or is shooting hoops. So far he is a no show in securing NATO interests. How long does that happen with portions of Southern Turkey included in Putin's no-fly zone? My guess is that he takes the phone call but then goes back to the links or to the basketball court. He really does not want to be bothered unless the subject matter deals with dividing Yerushalayim.

Also Hurricane Yehoiachin surprised us all. Rather than making a beeline for Chesapeake Bay, he decided to spin in one place slowly moving north off the Carolina Coast, causing a Biblical Flood (a 1000 year flood according to Foxnews).

I am not going to guess on how many will die in Eretz Yisrael. I know what Rav Vaknin has said, but we are now in a New Year with new decrees while the old decrees have been buried.

  2. Amazing! The French Rivera suffered a cataclysmic wind and rain deluge all along the coast. People killed, cars thrown and toppled, flooding. Immense photos on web, just google French riveria flood, then hit web to see photos. I guess this is for their promoting a return to peace negotians being forced on Israel, including maybe sanctions.

    1. Neshama, I was tending to agree with you but then googled South Carolina and France/Israel -- turns out both recently opposed boycotts against Israel--could someone be messing with the seasons as one of the autistics [not sure] suggested? both events being hyped as "biblical", "apocolyptic" might lead some people to think G-d is chas v shalom punishing them for going against the boycott http://www.timesofisrael.com/france-says-its-firmly-opposed-to-israel-boycott/

  3. Anyone else find it interesting that there are no reports of ISIS members being killed by the air strikes. Usually the media reports the deaths and injuries immediately. Must be precision strikes, or maybe a coordinated bailout of ISIS members?

  5. Daniel, Russia has been successful in killing many Isis terrorists, even to the point that there are desertions. It has so called stunned the world. I really don't know why. It was what the us should have done, rather than deliberately avoiding getting rid of Isis. Obama deliberately avoided the main centers of Isis because he really supported them!
Russia did what any great army should do. Targeted attacks. Obama is just so evil.

  6. So. All of these *rabbis* kvelling about *Moshiach* coming at Sukkot. What are we to believe now? About them and about their *ruach haKodesh*?

I don't believe any rabbi. I don't put my trust in any human. And that's what y'all need to understand. There is no gashmiut salvation. There is ONLY Hashem and Hashem only.

Now I need to seriously work on Ve-Ahavta.
