Israel perturbed by the arrival of 3,000 Iranian troops in Syria with 2,000 Cubans

...Until now, Israel had kept under close wraps any intelligence obtained about the movement of the Iranian forces. However, in consideration of the large number of troops, the continuation of the Russian and Iranian airlifts of forces to Syria, and the possibility that the Iranian troops could be deployed on the Syrian side of the Golan, Israeli leaders decided to go public in this latest development.

This is because of their grave concern that Iran may take advantage of the IDF’s transfer of forces from its northern borders to the domestic fronts for quelling the current outbreak of Palestinian terrorist violence, to go for territorial gains on the Golan and the Israel-Lebanon border.

Violence, Tunnel Attacks Anticipated as Hamas Urges Gazans to Storm Israel’s Border Friday

The IDF spokesperson has said that Israel is undertaking a “situational assessment” in view of the possibility of increased clashes with Gaza Strip Arabs along the border and has deployed two additional battalions from the Golani Brigade, to bolster the two Paratrooper battalions who’ve been stationed there for the past six weeks—all in preparation for Friday’s so-called Day of Rage. An additional two battalions and two companies were being deployed in Judea and Samaria Thursday.

  2. B"H yes, the great war is upon us. But it will be fought and won within us. One of us, two, and three, who win over the illusion of the material world and truly unite with G-dliness.

It happens in an instant, and brings miraculous salvation and redemption to the entire world.

  3. This is truly very important that you posted this. Thank you and g-d bless you.
We are truly getting even closer to the great and terrifying war every day. May the almighty protect the souls of the jewish people and all the good souls on earth in these horrifying times. Israel is making a big mistake facing them gun-on. It is extreme suicide. This is a war we cannot win with weapons considering the world situation. We must unite, pray and repent with strong feelings to overcome them. Happy shabbat.

  4. Cuba and Iran share a common enemy, the US. However, they will not harm Israel without Russia's approval. And Russia will protect Israel. Dov bar-Leib sees also Russia as a friend of Israel. Unfortunately, the Russians are not strong enough to face the killing machine that is US presence in the Middle East. Hashem intervenes to wipe out the greatest sinner in today's world. Then inferno begins. Yishmael will be completely annihilated. Gaon of Vilna, 12 minutes of nuclear catastrophes. Mashiach is watching!

  5. I may seem overly focused on this sugiyah. I have brought it up many times before. But, it really seems to fit. The different elements from it have popped up in the news over the years: Wandering Jews, periodic and increasing threats to the North (2006, 2009,...), real Hakhamim bearing the truth and being shunned for it, and the truth being hidden away in pockets (perush on the word absent below).

    Babylonian Talmud, Sanhedrin 97a
It was taught, Rabbi Yehudah said: In the generation when the son of David comes, the house of assembly will be for harlots, the Galilee will be in ruins, Gablan will lie desolate, the residents from the border towns will wander about from city to city, receiving no comfort (hospitality), the wisdom of scribes will be in disfavor, God-fearing men will be despised, people will be dog-faced, and the truth will be absent, as it is said, "And the truth is absent, and he who withdraws from evil makes himself prey." (Isaiah 59:15)

  6. Expect Israel to do nothing about Russian, Iranian, Cuban, and Chinese troops in Syria which a place that is considered gray area between the Land of Israel and the nations, according to Haza"l (there are several halakhot based on this). Expect Israel to do nothing and expect something to spark an invasion of Israel, and if that actually happens, expect to see Ezekiel 38-39 play out. I think what one of the teenagers who had the OBE on the first night of Sukot said about the IDF lasting two days is pretty accurate.

One thing I'm very happy and amazed about is that there seems to be a lot of Jews recognizing their need to defend themselves and not rely on the Israeli gov't and their police to come to their aid. It seems a few people are waking up. I like the see some people making teshuva, but I don't know how many are. Certainly not enough. The problem with that is that there is a shallow Rav around every corner waiting to make it corporate teshuva instead of the real thing. People need to cut that off at the pass and go all out, but how can they? If they don't come to R' Nahman's Torah and they don't do hitbodedut, yelling and crying out to HaShem for REAL, like a "crazy" (as many Rabbis would have you believe), then the teshuva is partial at best. You have to go all out for it and focus on the things that matter most, like tiqun habrith which is tiqun haklali, hitbodedut, kavana in tefilla, learning Torah for the sake of knowing HaShem and His will and doing it. Everything that is real, not to perform dry, soulless rituals and daven faster than a jackrabbit, for example.

"In a time of war, it is necessary to prepare weapons as is customary, and the Holy One Blessed be He will do His will - and there's no relying on a miracle." -R' Nahman, Sefer HaMidot, Meriva #101

  7. "If they don't come to R' Nahman's Torah..."

Are you just giving important examples of what he taught?

Or are you suggesting that if we don't accept Rabbi Nachman of Breslov as our "rebbe," then we're lost?

  8. esser Agaroth, his advice is most pertinent to this generation.

In Moshe's generation, individuals as well as the whole nation would have had to follow Moshe Rabenu to be saved from the status quo.

After the Zohar was revealed, you had to go to Rashbi's Torah to get what you needed. It is a deeo revekation of Torah that all need to study in order to follow specific advice from it when it comes to serving HaShem.

The Ariza"l, who explained and expounded upon the sodoth haTorah frim the Zohar was also the go-to-guy of his generation and subsequent generations, like the previous. His revelations were and are necessary for the Jewish people to learn and live by.

R' Nahman is the same. In fact, there is a concept in the Zohar of the soul of "Moshe-Mashiah", and it fits all the above 3, needless to say Moshe himself, the origin. Nahman ben Simha = Shim'on ben Yohai in gematria. The Ariza"l spent much time in hitbodedut to attain his insights into Torah, as did R' Nahman (from a very young age), and they both died at 38. These just aren't coincidences.
