War in Days?

23 Elul 5775

Today marks fourteen years since the 9/11 attack which, in my opinion, was the opening shot of World War III. From NYC to Afghanistan and Iraq, to Libya, Syria, Ukraine, and Yemen, it has spread across the Middle East. Is it all about to come home now?

A bulletin from PMW (Palestinian Media Watch):
Abbas’ PA and Fatah endorse continued conflict at the Temple Mount
Abbas to university students: “We will continue to stand firm and carry out Ribat in Jerusalem and its surroundings until Judgement Day” [Fatah Twitter account and Syrian Fatah Facebook page, Aug. 17, 2015]
...Last week, on the anniversary of an arson attack in the Al-Aqsa Mosque by a deranged Australian Christian in 1969 that the PA adamantly accuses Israel of planning, Fatah spokesman in Jerusalem Raafat Alayan urged Palestinians to continue carrying out Ribat “regardless of the cost”:

“Our resolute people will continue to carry out Ribat (i.e., religious conflict/war over land claimed to be Islamic) in its homeland, and to protect the Al-Aqsa [Mosque] until Judgement Day, regardless of the cost.”  [Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Aug. 22, 2015]
What was hailed last week as a blow for Jewish rights on Har Habayit when forty Muslim women were banned from 'Al Aqsa' will surely become another source of incitement in the days ahead.

Then there's the Dura fire that resulted in the death of a child followed by his father days later and now the mother today. And police still haven't solved the crime.

So the kindling has been laid, is this the event that is going to spark the fire???
Abbas set to annul Oslo accords, declare Palestine a state under occupation
The fog created by the ostensibly impending resignation of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas appeared to clear Monday, as details emerged indicating that the resignation threats were no more than a diversion ahead of a dramatic move planned by the Palestinians: declaring Palestine a state under occupation and reneging on their obligations as detailed in the Oslo Accords.
The move was apparently decided on several months ago by Saeb Erekat, the acting head of the Palestinian negotiating team and the secretary general of the PLO’s executive committee, who was the man behind a document setting out the Palestinians’ diplomatic moves against Israel during the month of September.
Note how this has been planned for "months". Will another war in the Middle East - a war in Jerusalem - be the central pillar of the Pope's planned appeal to the world to end religious strife and bloodshed by abandoning sectarian religion altogether and coming together as one under a banner of 'Abrahamic' spirituality? If so, could it only be days away?

  1. There's no question the world is bubbling and about to explode. The one thing, the only thing is to know that's its all part of the process. If you read the neviim, the midrashim, and every other Jewish source, everything that is happening has been stated in one way or another.
The fact Israel surrounded by sworn enemies, is still standing is nothing short of a miracle.
This blog here does a good job incorporating and meshing the sources with current events.
On another note, I couldn't help wondering out loud if the new oil fields named Leviathan is somehow related to the Levyason mentioned in the gemara and medrashim etc in the times of the geulah.....

  2. Just got this from The Israel Link on facebook: "Riots reported near Schechem and in Kfar Duma. And guess who came to lend her hand - the MK terrorist Hanin Zoabi!"

Perhaps the 3-day strike followed by the Day of Rage scheduled for Friday will be the launch of the war Rabbi Vaknin has been predicting, especially if Hanin Zoabi is involved, just as he reportedly said.

    1. It will be too hot for a war. More than likely they'll resort to setting fires.

    2. Or visibility will be too low. Wonder if Hashem sent this sandstorm to discourage them being out rioting.

  3. Russian submarine with 20 ICBMs and 200 nuclear warheads is sailing to Syria

    1. A nuclear warhead is usually a quarter size (if not more) of a submarine, how exactly did they fit 200 into one sub? That's right, they didn't.

An ICBM is larger than tank.

You have to be insane to actually believe that article. Unless russia has a submarine the size of a small island.

    2. The world’s largest submarine, the Dmitri Donskoy (TK-208), Nato-coded Typhoon, has set sail for the Mediterranean and is destined for the Syrian coast, DEBKAfile reports exclusively from its military and intelligence sources. Aboard the sub are 20 Bulava (NATO-code SS-N-30) intercontinental ballistic missiles with an estimated up to 200 nuclear warheads. Each missile, with a reported range of 10,000km, carries 6-10 MIRV nuclear warheads.

Everything is getting smaller these days. The warheads are on the missiles. Can a giant sub carry 20 missiles?
