I Will Neither Condone Nor Condemn

9 Tamuz 5774

Because, very simply, WE DON'T KNOW ANYTHING! It's the RUSH to condemn BEFORE ANY FACTS ARE KNOWN that I condemn!

Additionally, I'd like to address two things that stand out in this round.

1. People are carrying on about the young Arab man being "burned alive." I wonder how many of them have taken the time to notice that this claim was made by only ONE person - another Arab. It is otherwise unsubstantiated! Even if it turns out to be true, all it means is that he was still breathing. He was probably unconscious from the blow to the head. But people who love to expect the very worst are now claiming he was tortured before being killed! More fuel for the Arab fire and Jews are complicit!!

2. No one can mention this guy's name without prefacing it with the word "innocent." How do they know? Have his life and actions been examined? Did he grow up in a violent Arab atmosphere and reach the age of sixteen without ever picking up a rock? Now, there's a rumor going around that he took a selfie holding up three fingers in celebration of the kidnap of our three yeshivah bachurim.

Here is something WE DO KNOW - WE ARE AT WAR and these people are the enemy and we must never, ever forget that!

  1. Devash: Kudos! So far, you have been the only rational, Jewish minded blogger I've read. It is a chilul H' that there are even 'rabbis' condemning without proof abd for the whole world to see.

  5. He was a kid. Do you know what that means? I'm afraid we may have to explain it to you.

  6. Explain it to King David...

Psalm 137 - "...praiseworthy is he who repays you your recompense that you have done to us. Praiseworthy is he who will take and dash your infants against the rock."
