Rain Update: Lake Kineret Rises Another Inch
Wednesday's rain has caused Lake Kineret (Sea of Galilee) to rise another inch. The level is now at -211.38 meters below sea level. The black line is -214.4 meters below sea level. More rain is expected throughout the weekend.
Chief Rabbis: Rain Has Fallen, Now Say Thank You
Israel's two Chief Rabbis issued a call on Wednesday to recite a special prayer of thanks for the rains that have fallen over most of the country. Precipitation is expected to increse over the weekend with snow predicted.
