Wednesday Shaping Up to be an Eventful Day

The Olmert government is set to fall, please G-d.

"...Labor chairman and Defense Minister Barak had given the Prime Minister a June 25 deadline to step down or face a majority vote for dissolution.

...June 25 is the second anniversary of the cross-border raid carried out by Hamas terrorists at the Kerem Shalom Crossing in which two IDF soldiers were killed and Cpl. Gilad Shalit was kidnapped."
The Calatrava Bridge is set for its grand opening (without actually opening, of course.)

It's the day BEFORE the public celebration of homosexuality.

  1. Will Bibi be any better than Olmert? I'm afraid that he'll continue his policies of retreat and withdrawal, except with public support.

HaShem have mercy on Gilead and all of the captive among Israel.

What's the deal with this bridge? I passed by it when I was in Jerusalem. What's all the controversy?

The Toeivah Parade, G-d willing, will be cancelled. Otherwise, we should fear His Wrath.

  4. While there will be an overall improvement in the leadership of the State of Israel in the next year, it is not so clear to me that it will be a change that comes about via elections, as opposed to an aftermath of another unqualified leader coming to power (via elections or otherwise).

  5. Devash, I read your comment over at my site. I hope that you are not refering to me when you speak of virtual execution.

I have never attempted to stray a Jew from Torah, but only to bring them closer to HaShem. Your comment pains me greatly. The objective of my site is to refute xian lies to being back the many, many, many Jews who have become enticed by their avodah zara. It is not enough to whine and cry about xian missionizing. et laasot l'HaShem, hepheru Torateicha. It is time to act and to fight for the Truth. We cannot do this if we are afraid to get dirty. We have no need to worry about converted- but we must act to save our brothers.

I hope that you will clarify what you meant.

  6. I read contradictory reports about the Toeivah parade. Some said that it was very scaled down with virtually no people. Others said that thousands marched under pro-gay banners. As a Jerusalemite, what actually happened?

  7. 2000-3000 paraded. Mostly cops and media attended. Almost nobody came to view it.
