"Egypt" Loses Its Power Over Israel on the 15th of Nissan

"...and on the 15th of Nisan they will in the future be redeemed from subjugation to exile.” (Tanhuma, Bo 9)

No Surprises Here

Another "cycle of violence" and the world is doing what it does best, looking the other way while the Arabs beat up on Israel but jumping up and screaming the moment Israel fights back.

This is not news. It's to be expected. The response is so far out of all reason that we know it must mean something deep and significant. And so it does. It means that after 3500+ years, the world still can't stomach the Jews. They can't find any compassion for us within themselves.

Day after day after day the qassams and katyushas fall. Jews dead and injured. Children maimed and traumatized for life and no one reports it. But the moment the perpetrators are called to account, the world rushes to their defense.

We have no one to look to but our Father in Heaven.

And He's gonna clobber them!!

  1. For the Avenger of Blood remembers them- He has not forgotten the cry of the humble.

    כִּי-דֹרֵשׁ דָּמִים, אוֹתָם זָכָר; לֹא-שָׁכַח, צַעֲקַת עֲנָוִים

    Speedily in our days, amen!

  2. I'm told no one will understand what it means, so I will interpret the cartoon.

If one concentrates only on the confrontation between Israel and the PA, it might appear, as it seems to do to the world, taht Israel has become the "Goliath" to the PA's "David."

But in actuality, if one steps back a bit to see the bigger picture, it becomes clear that it is Israel who is "David" to the Greater Arab "Goliath."

Step back further still and you begin to see the true reality---that Hashem is over all and nothing happens without His involvement and close attention. He will rescue us when we call out to Him.
