"...in close proximity to Jerusalem"

I'm sure by now that everyone is already aware, but just in case someone missed it, you should know that the US has no less than three warships sitting off of our Mediterranean coast.

Here's an article about it from last week...
U.S. posting 3 warships off Lebanon

The Arab press is sure it's a prelude to something ominous...like an imminent attack on Syria or Iran.
Perhaps, but if so, how does Somalia figure into it? Or maybe it doesn't have to.

What I can't help thinking about at this time of year is the fact that Gulf War 1 ended on Purim and Gulf War 2 started on Purim. Will there be a Gulf War 3? If so, will it be connected to Purim, too?

"The children of Edom will gather their forces and wage battles against the children of Yishmael, one [battle] on the sea, one on dry land, and one in close proximity to Jerusalem. One will dominate the other, but the Holy Land will not be delivered into the hands of the children of Edom." (Zohar HaKadosh)

  2. The war will start soon. Yet our war will not be theirs. I think really our war takes place inside of us and we will prevail with proper emunah.

  3. Perhaps Condi's current visit will cool it off enough to allow it to wait for Purim.
